ESPN Videogames announced today ESPN NFL 2005. The game is being developed by SEGA's sports studio, Visual Concepts Entertainment, and is scheduled for release this fall for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 2.

"Fusing the thrill of a real football game atmosphere with revolutionary gameplay features and enhanced graphics, ESPN NFL 2005 truly is a hybrid from other mainstream football games."
ESPN NFL Football will be the second game released under the newly-formed ESPN Videogames brand as a collaboration between SEGA, Visual Concepts, maker of the acclaimed "2K" series, and ESPN.
