I am pretty sure they said the same thing the day before the last price cut.
I guess the only thing that's getting a price cut is the PS2.

I got my PS2 six years ago for $199, and luckily it's still working perfectly.

March 31, 2009 - When news leaked that Sony would have a big announcement today and then the company followed up with an official statement telling folks not to look for a PlayStation 3 price drop, it was all but confirmed that the PlayStation 2 would be taking center stage this morning.
Now, it's official: the PS2 will begin retailing for $99.99 tomorrow, April 1, 2009.
"PlayStation 2 set the industry standard for worldwide mass market adoption and is a clear embodiment of Sony's commitment to platforms that deliver 10-year product lifecycles," said Jack Tretton, SCEA president and CEO. "It's a tribute to outstanding technology, great consumer value and unprecedented development support that we've now been able to do twice what no one else has ever accomplished."
Since its launch on Oct. 26, 2000, the PS2 has sold more than 136 million sell-in units worldwide and collected nearly 1,900 titles. If you've been waiting for a PS2 (Seriously, man?) or a DVD player (You're kidding, right?), looks like tomorrow is your time to buy.

That looks great. One of two stumbling blocks between me and the PS3 is now history. I prefer the Xbox controller. Now, I just have to make someone pony up the cash . . .10spro wrote:You mean something like this?fletcher21 wrote:If they made an adaptor so i could use my 360 controller on the ps3 I'd buy one with the quickness
It's called the XCM cross battle adaptor.
