Should be a great game. Baylor is fighting for their NCAA life. Mizzou will have a lot of momentum going in to the NCAA tournament if they win. I wouldn't want to play either team.

Definitely should be a great game... I can't wait!
I wouldn't want to play KU or OU in the first round either.
Last night, Memphis's senior class became the most winningest class in D1 history. 134 wins during their time in college and counting. Memphis also became the first team to have 4 straight 30 win seasons.

Try doing that in the Big East, Big 12 or ACC, pal!
Seriously, this Memphis group has delivered when it counts, in March. Two Elite Eights and an NCAA final in the last three years. Impressive.
Take care,

I really hate when underachieving majors get into the tourney. Arizona, Wisconsin, and Maryland have no business being in the tourney when teams like St. Mary's and SDSU get shut out. It makes the tournament more boring and rewards mediocrity simply because teams play in more powerful conferences.
Other than that, it should be an exciting tournament. I really like Pitt's chances to go all the way. I suspect Memphis will also be playing with a chip on its shoulder after getting a 2 seed.
Arizona getting in the tournament is WRONG! I don't have a problem with Wisconsin or even Maryland in, but Minnesota shouldn't be there. I know you can argue all day, but Arizona is a real head scratcher. And Minnesota finished lower than Wisconsin in the Big Ten, yet Minnesota is a 10 seed and Wisconsin a 12.
Oh well, brackets are set. Now it is time to fill them out and watch me go 15-1 on Thursday and 7-9 on Friday.
Syracuse as a No. 3 seed -- cool. That's better than many expected in this town. I think the consensus was that SU's performance in the Big East elevated it from a No. 6 or 7 to a No. 4.
But No. 3? That's excellent! It's also a reflection of the strength of the Big East.
Take care,
PK

FYI for those of you with an iPhone, there is a CBS Sports March Madness App in the iTunes App Store for $4.99. Its streams all the games live (over Wifi) to your iPhone. You can get the audio of the games over 3G and Edge connections.

It is ridiculous when teams with .500 (or, in MD's case, below .500) conference records are getting into the tourney. I could see letting a .500 team if they have a strong conference tourney finish, but no team with a losing conference record should be allowed in unless they win their tourney.
Despite the lack of respect the smaller schools got, I was surprised to see Sienna get a 9 seed. That should be a good game against Ohio State.
Have any of you used the CBS online stream to watch the games? I was thinking about lugging my 20-inch TV up to my home office to watch the games, but if the stream quality is good I might just run that on my PC.
I'm satisfied with just running it on the PC. They are going to have a "high quality" one this year, don't know how well that will run over the company's bandwidth

I've really enjoyed the online stream the last two years. Has worked well on my cable modem connection.
And as Squid said, CBS is introducing a high-def stream this year. So it should be even better.

The "company's" bandwith is my home connection, and I have a separate personal PC in my home office for doing this sort of thing. I'll give the HQ version a shot. Thanks for the tip.
