Haven't idiot owners learned that this recipe doesn't work. I thought NFL owners were getting away from that thinking? That was part of the problem in Tampa. Bruce Allen and Jon Gruden were basically the same. If you were an owner trying to fill seats you could either hire a (future) hall of fame coach & let him run the show, or hire a 32 year old assistant coach from somewhere like USC & force him do whatever some GM tells him. Why the hell is everyone so upset over the kickoff call? On the reverse view it CLEARLY hit Abiamiri in the forearm when his foot was out of bounds. Yes, the ball never went out of bounds but the Cards didn't get screwed there. Easy to see. Not that it matters.
Ref called the ball out of bounds (which was wrong) that is a penalty. When a ball is ruled out of bounds it cannot be reviewed. On FOX's replays you could see the ball hit Abiamiri's forearm on the reverse view that they only showed once. His foot was like 8 inches out of bounds when that happened. Thus, Cards didn't get screwed. The NFL already admitted at half time the refs got the call wrong & it should have been a Live ball. I guess so but seeing is believing to me. Refs got the call wrong but it all worked out because of the ball being touched out of bounds.
