So much for the experts saying the visiting teams were going to beat the home teams. Although I have this feeling they'll be right with the Ravens beating the Dolphins.

Sweet win for the Chargers......Grats!
Dont be afraid...the Dolphins will show up:)
The Colts broadcasters were pissed with the lopsided calls against the Colts including the Face Mask, Holding and Defensive Pass Interference on the last drive. I think the face mask and holding at the line was legit but they kept saying it was the worse officiating they had ever seen.
And Ed Hochuli wasn't even on the field.
I hope your right about my Phins although the Ravens look strong with that scary ass 2000 SB Defense.

If you can only score 17 against the awful San Diego D, you deserve to lose in the playoffs.
It's pretty silly that the road teams were all favored. I could see the Colts being favored given their record, but with the Cardinals playing their first home playoff game in five centuries, you would figure they would be pumped up. Plus, Kurt Warner saves his best prayers for the playoff games.
Dolphins/Ravens is a tough one to call, but I like a hot Dolphins team against a rookie QB on the road.
I think the Eagles will be the only road team to win this weekend, even though they are not a very good road team. Their offense matches up well against the Vikings run-stuffing D, and Jim Johnson will find a way to contain Peterson and force some mistakes from Tavaris Jackson.

I see both games the same way..Brando70 wrote:

The Ravens D is great and I think Ed Reed is best defensive player in the league but.....
I prefer Pennington against the Ravens D more than Flacco against any defense. I no like rookies in playoffs...Kinda like Ryan against the Cardinals.
I dont like Jackson vs the Eagles blitz at all...Plus I dont trust purple.
The latest rumor courtesy of PFT is that Parcells may be let go and Carl Peterson who is a close personal friend of new owner Stephen Ross will be brought in to replace him. And if Parcells decides to stay which he won't could answer to Peterson. Absolutely stupid to piss off Parcells. All he's going to do is raid the team of personnel and coaches including Jeff Ireland, Sparano and the OC/DC when their contracts are up.

Agreed, the Ravens D is just like I called it a few post back. They are solid and are playing like the 2000 Ravens D.XXXIV wrote:Im going to have to pick B. The Ravens D is very good.fletcher21 wrote:Is Pennington this bad, or is the Ravens D this good?
If Pennington was this bad the Dolphins wouldnt have won their division.

Congrats on calling something that has statistical data to back up your statement. Awesome prediction.Rodster wrote:Agreed, the Ravens D is just like I called it a few post back. Good games. None of the results are totally surprising.
Matchups look good for next weekend too, although it'll be very tough for the road teams to break through.
The AFC teams will beat each other up. Question marks on LT and Rothlisberger.
Cards did a good job of shutting down the Falcons' running game and daring Ryan to beat them. But Carolina can make big plays from the passing or running game against that defense.
Giants should be favored but their passing game is a question mark. The loss of Plexico is a bigger deal than people think, until Hixon and other WRs make some plays against the gambles which Philly will take.
