On my way to the radio station I ran into a bunch of raider baddies in a square. Picked up many goodies.

s***, I cleared out the damn SuperMart and didn't get a shotgun!Rodster wrote:Yup me too. I kicked major ass while in the Super Mart and wound up with all kinds of nice toys. Like a one shot your dead Shotgun and a nice Laser gun.
Has anyone figured out how to use the Food Sanitizer? I got it as a gift while at the supply store. Haven't figured how to use it.
I didnt get a shot gun at the mart either. Maybe drops are random?..I got a 10mm machine gun, flame thrower and a big ass cannon machine gun across the river and to the south at friendship square(?).RobVarak wrote:s***, I cleared out the damn SuperMart and didn't get a shotgun!Rodster wrote:Yup me too. OTOH I may have missed it. Hard to find all the brown/gray items on the brown/gray background of the world LOL
The ants quest just chews up ammo though!!!
No I don't think so. I got it a second time. I got it when I killed the baddies in the Super Mart that leads into the Pharmacy.XXXIV wrote: I didnt get a shot gun at the mart either. Does the game have a flashlight at some point that you can buy or find?
This whole thread is one big spolier, but I'll be formal and say SPOILER:Danimal wrote:If you stay on the set quests the game isn't going to put you up against it too much, start wandering and you might find some nasty stuff.

Yeah what up with those? That sheriff starts shooting everytime I punch it.Rodster wrote:You mean like the two headed cows in Megaton?dbdynsty25 wrote:But the animals ruin it!Brando70 wrote: This is serious game of the year quality stuff, sportdan, if not one of the best games for this generation of consoles.
I'm not a fan of RPGs at all really...the only game that remotely interested me in the genre is Oblivion, and I got sick of it fairly soon.Sport73 wrote:With so many good games out, I don't want to waste a purchase on a mistake. Is this game good for a sports/music/shooter gamer?
My advice would be just RENT it first. Its a great game for what it is but its not for everyone. I'm at level 4 and I'm already starting to wonder how much more I can play this game. Honestly it is a bit too wide open for me and I'm finding the "run around the bleak, nuclear wasteland" pretty annoying at this point. Also the animations for all the animals and people really bug me in how crappy they look compared to other games that I've been playing lately. Everybody moves like a robot.Sport73 wrote: With so many good games out, I don't want to waste a purchase on a mistake. Is this game good for a sports/music/shooter gamer?
I reached that point last night...The fourth straight night of wandering wasteland hour after hour was a little too much. They did such a great job with the games environment. Maybe too goodmacsomjrr wrote: I'm finding the "run around the bleak, nuclear wasteland" pretty annoying at this point.
The game is as close to a perfect 10 as you can get.Rodster wrote:The bleakness still has not gotten to me yet. Love the environment and game. This game is 10x better than Oblivion in the immersion factor and it's also better than Oblivion because it's tough.
The first Action RPG I have played that makes you pay for being stupid or picking the wrong fight.
