I'm not sure how the Giants lost to them...weird. It's just funny that you pipe up after each win here, yet it's eerily silent when they lose. Just a trend I noticed.

I also watched the shortcut replay of the Bears game, and I didn't think the clock at the end was that big of a deal. There may have been a half-second delay on the kickoff before it started and a similar delay on the last pass, but not enough to make me think it was a big deal.
It is also amazing that you can watch a 3+ hour football game in about 22 minutes when you cut out everything except the actual football.

Jerry Jones made the trade for long-term, not just this season.
He's going to give Williams a $40 million plus contract for 5 years.
TO is 34. Romo and Witten are young, Williams is 27.
Cowboys are putting up a $1 billion stadium to fill.
Hopefully this works out like the trade Jones made for Galloway a few years back, two first-round picks and Galloway didn't do too much in Dallas.

Outside of the 2006 season, though, Roy Williams has been an above-average receiver at best. And that's playing on a pass-happy team that often has to come from behind. Now, Detroit can suck the talent out of even the best players, but I haven't seen much that says Williams is worth two high draft picks. For that kind of trade, he better put up old TO numbers pretty quickly.

The Cowboys are slowly becoming the team to take all the questionable class players of the league, better be careful before you know it they will be the Raiders
Williams can pout and distratc just as well as TO, should be a fun team to hate now.

Its great isn't it? I wish they would replay the games all week. I know I could record them, but there is some fun in flipping channelsBrando70 wrote: It is also amazing that you can watch a 3+ hour football game in about 22 minutes when you cut out everything except the actual football.

Forgetting the offense it is hard to believe the defense the last two games against the Skins and Cowboys is the same one that played the first four.sportdan30 wrote:I would like to know where the Rams effort was the first four games of the season. It can't be just the head coach, can it?
Maybe lack of effort due to a dislike of Linehan?...Pretty lame on their part if that is the case though.

Bengals slump to another defeat, aided of course by yet another injury - this time first round linebacker Keith Rivers probably out for the season. Offensive line played terribly again,, though the defense put in a reasonable effort.
Best course of action would be to just inform the remaining 9 opponents that they can count it as a win, and just fold up the tents and get ready for next year and life after Marvin.

The crucial stretch against AFC East opponents looms, but after yesterday's win against the Bolts, I'm starting to believe the Bills could challenge in the AFC this season.
That was a quality win, and Edwards showed no lingering effects from the concussion. HUGE game by the offensive line, too, which barely let San Diego touch Edwards -- at least from what I could see when the stadium power outage didn't black out the broadcast!
And that one-handed TD catch by Evans? Cue the 2008 NFL season highlight reel, please.
GO BILLS!
Take care,
PK

I hate being negative when the Bears win but. I have a lot fo get out...
Bears vs Vikings set defensive play back 20 years. The Bears defense is bad and we have a lot of players who need to sack up. Vasher, say goodbye to your job pal, Last year you missed 9 games with a groin pull, now your out again and running your mouth each week that you're 100%.
Hester not doing it in the return game and is conveniently getting dinged up, it's a f***in thigh bruise get your ass in the game. Also where did Brandon Lloyd go, did he die? How long is Urlacher out? wait what he has been playing...weird I haven't seen him on the field.
Hey Lovie our defense sucks, stop deferring the f***in kick offs. I hate to break it to you and all the other meat head Bears fans our offense, the rag tag bunch they are, is the highlight of this team. Deferring isn't making a statement it's just spotting the other team 7 points.
Turner, when you're moving the ball at will and their is seven minutes left the game plan of run, run, dump off pass and punt is not going to win you a lot of games if you're counting on the Pink Ladies of the Midway to make a stand. You found that out 3 times already this year but you continue to do it. Thanks for letting the vikings have another shot yesterday when they shouldn't of even gotten close.
Finally to illustrate how great a judge of talent this staff is, we suffered through years of Sexy Rexy. Cut Thomas Jones in favor of a guy who wasn't in the NFL for the first 4 weeks of this season. Alex Brown by far the best player on the defense so far this year was demoted to back up last year because the coaching staff didn't like him and Lance Briggs the only legitimate Linebacker we have was almost gone because they quibbled about his pay, yet gave Urlacher who hasn't done much of anything in 2 years an extension.
Whew I feel better.... GO BEARS!

Not exactly....Nice win for the Dolphins.Rodster wrote:Not looking good for my Phins today. At least our 2009 1st Rd. pick keeps getting better.
Rams fade in the 4th. I was pretty shocked to see them in the lead but Lamb time came soon enough.
NFL refs suck again...as they cornhole the falcons late.
