Prediction: USC pulls it out, but they drop from 1 to 2 in the rankings.

Might have to change this prediction! What a game! They can't stop the 5'6 running back from Oregon State!

Wow! I can't believe it. USC sure did not impress in the 4th quarter. Watch out for the Big 12. OU moves up to one and Mizzou is in the NC hunt!

What is USC's problem? Stanford last year and now OSU? Granted this loss is a bit more bearable than the Stanford one but come on USC. The scary question is did expose a weakness in USCs D or was it just a fluke thing that OSU could take advantage of because of their mini-me running back Rodgers.

Whatever. Goodbye National Championship. Hello Rose Bowl.

Not so fast. USC could still make the National Championship. People tend to forget that last year's champ had 2 loses!!!

FLA lost today and Mizzou got shafted last year for the rose bowl, so not it's not a stretch to think they could get screwed again for the BCS Champ game (esp if they lose a game).

I guess I should clarify. They can still make it with help. They are no longer masters of their own national championship destiny. Damn those fiesty beavers!

At least they showed up and made it slightly interesting. Took an entire half and they are still down big.

Not likely, considering their will be three Big 12 schools in the top 5, and four in the top 10 after this weekend.

If OU and MU run the table, the national championship game will be the Big 12 title again.

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, being an Auburn fan and all, but 'Bama might have something to say about that. Damn, they're on a roll...(pun intended).

Not sure why anyone is surprised by USC's debacle in Corvallis this weekend. They never play well up there, even in 2004 when they ran the table they easily could have lost up there. And the Beavers are a completely different team up there. I think they are now like 11-1 in their last 12 games at home or something like that.

That place has been a house of horrors for USC in recent years. Actually the whole state of Oregon has been a problem for USC in recent years.

And Teal please spare the media will give them every opportunity. The SEC gets slobbered on by both ESPN and CBS at every opportunity. Save it.

USC is still in the hunt for the big game, but it's unlikely and they would need a lot of other teams to lose games.

Some teams get some love from the media, but Georgia is not one of them. Hell Mark May and ESPN actually bashed Georgia for going out west and playing ASU..... unfreaking real.

If Georgia was going to lose only one game all year, then the Alabama game was the best one to lose. They still control their own destiny in the SEC.

If I hear one more story about Beanie Wells and his toe, I am going to puke.

The national champion this year will have at least 1 loss, maybe two.

If USC is going to make the title game this year, they need to win out and hope everyone else lose at least 2 games. I think they are the odd man out with multiple 1 loss teams due to strength of schedule... Unless it's OSU...

Oh yeah, I had a BLAST at the ASU game. It was my first UGA away game... AJ Green is a freak.

I am sure part of the fun was the fact I stayed in Vegas which was a 5 hour trip each way.

I will post pics as soon as I get them from my father in law. He was in charge of all the photos.

Agreed for the most part. I think a 1 loss SEC Champ is in, no matter what. After that, I am not sure.

It's not true, nor has it ever been true, unless you talk about Mark May. The ABC and CBS guys in particular love to hammer on USC at every opportunity.

Besides 2003 wrecks your argument. If anything if any team gets shoe horned in to a national title game it's the Big 12 teams. See 2001, 2003, 2004. Or Ohio State, see 2006 and 2007. Why you would pop off about USC, I really don't know.

Simply embarrassing roughing the passer call against Oklahoma.

EDIT: Followed by an equally bad running into the kicker call against Texas.

 ...Where have all the good refs gone?

OU loses to Texas - somewhere out there on the web BD just let out a scream!

Best wishes,
