ATT here and I HAD them, but the new house I bought is too far for a reasonable DSL speed. ATT works for 360 also, watched it some at the firehouse today.
Hey! Akron is a prolific scoring team! Or, maybe not... We'll take our second-ever wn over a BCS conference team, no matter who it was or how it happened, LOL.
And, all you Buckeye haters are licking your chops, but mark my words, they'll be ready to play next week...
That may very well happen. My point is that OSU won't have a lackluster effort like this week. May the better team win. USC is loaded, and one of the juggernauts of the new millenium. This will be the true test for Ohio State to see if they've gotten over the proverbial hump.

I dont really think it was lackluster as much as OSU holding a lot back. When it was time to turn it on..They turned it on...They just werent going to show USC anything.

THAT was great? Yikes. 3 points. Good times. I actually thought they'd cover...but that last punt return kinda ruined that for me. Oh well...some of those freshman look legit. At some point, when you consistently have a top 5 recruiting class, you gotta get better. Hopefully all the young guys learn something this year and can put it together for the next few. They are just must too raw this year.
Yep, I saw a lot of potential in the Canes. It was damn hard cheering for them last night, but when it comes down to it, UF just makes my stomach turn. Wish it would have went better for UM, I really thought they were going to make it close and MAYBE even pull one out. Oh well!!
I know it was Western Carolina, but the Noles through up their most points scored since the good ole days (95) Drew Weatherford did not start but did play some. And we also had a huge amount of guys on suspension so we got to see some young talent. Downside, they gave up like 178 yds rushing and I saw like 3 or 4 runs over 20yds. WTF!!! I know there were a lot of defensive guys out but DAMN!!

OMG, they are gonna get slaughtered... Bet USC to cover & the over.

LOL, that's quite the analysis...

Ok, feel free to share why u think The Buckeyes are going go in to the Coliseum with a gimpy running back, a suspect defense (Ohio???), and beat a team that could beat most of the NFC West teams by 2 scores?
You said they'd be "ready to play" next week. Does that just mean they are ready to 'hike the ball'? I'd love to hear u "break it down" for us.
OMG, they might get slaughtered! Then again, they may play better and compete!
I'm not a gambler, nor am I playing any lines. I'm just saying they will play better than they did against OU. If that's not good enough, then so be it. This game will dictate whether or not the Buckeyes are able to play with the best of the best, assuming SC is in that class. SC were supposed to be last year, yet stumbled. SC has a new QB, an inexperienced line, and some injury issues of their own. I hardly think they could beat ANY NFL team, but I digress.
Win or lose, life will go on. I'm way beyond getting into a virtual "my team is better than your team" spitting contest on a message board. Root for the Trojans; have a good time.
I think the OSU/USC game is close. Not sure who will win.
When was the last time OSU beat a real quality team out of their conference
The Texas game doesn't count, since McCoy was a true freshman and that Texas team really wasn't that good? They almost got UT in 05. But I really can't remember the last time the Buckeyes beat a big time out of conference opponent.
Maybe tomorrow is the day. Maybe they will be exposed for the frauds that many people feel they have been the last two years. I really have no feel for how tomorrow's game will go.
Pete wrote:I don't think you have to really analyze this game. What it comes down to is on both sides of the ball, USC is just better.
I can see OSU keeping it close on emotion early, but USC will wear them down and will win running away. Something like 38-13.
USC has the most talent in the country, by far. The most depth and great coaches. They are the best in college football right now.
As a ND fan, you don't know how hard that is to type, but it is true.
And we'll still find a way to lose to a lower tier Pac 10 team this year.
As a USC fan, I am obligated today to say Go Blue.
Jackdog and Bkrich, no problem.
It could be ugly today. Like my friend said, "It will be like watching two pigs fu&*ing today with these two offenses". I have a wedding and reception to go to, so I set the DVR and will watch it in the morning. Not expecting much.
