The RR era begins at Michigan. I am pumped for the game today. I haven't had much of a chance to check up on other teams this year. Who's the favorite to win it all?
Whoever your team is "Good Luck" and enjoy my friends. Except Ohio St.
Should be a good game between Illinois and Missouri tonight. Its going to be interesting to see what type of season the Illini have this year following their Rose Bowl appearance. Normally, the season following a bowl appearance isn't too fruitful for the school, but Zook appears to have a solid foundation with Juice Williams, Arrelious Benn, other WR's and the offensive line. Rashard Mendenhall will definitely be missed though.

It was a damn good game last year. I am looking forward to watching that one tonight. Zook did a great job last year. Fun team to watch. Unless they are playing the team you root for.

That sounds fun. That game is always a shootout isn't it? I've watched it a few times and find myself wanting CSU to win. I still haven't forgot Kordell Stewart and the pass. f***er!

Big expectations for Juice Williams this year. The coaching staff has coddled him for his frosh & soph years even though they threw him into the fire as a freshman. Zook has told him they are taking off the kid gloves and expect him to play like a veteran QB. Also Benn is completely healed from his arm injury from last year. He's finally able to lift both of his arms above his head. Its truly amazing the season he had last year considering he was playing one-armed.
It'll be interesting how well Michigan does under Rodriguez this season, how he handles the pressure of being at such a high profile school.
No worries, brother. There is nothing else. There may be 25,000 in the Dome for the home opener next Saturday. It's beyond a joke -- this program is embarrassing.
Well, one of my alma maters started off with a bang Friday night. Rice walloped SMU. My other alma mater is currently up on Utah.
Never seen an LSU game like the one today. Tiger fans never leave as early as they did. Methinks a ton of cajuns are a little spooked about Gustav and left early to get out.
If ol' Gustav hits LA as a CAT 5 as is possible, or even a strong 4, LSU will become the North Mississippi Tigers. They're stadium will be by the salt water lake that used to be Louisiana...

Take care,

Go Zips! For a team predicted to finish in the MAC basement, they showed pretty well against Wisconsin today. They couldn't stop the run at all, but they did move the ball offensively pretty well. Maybe Akron will get it second ever win against a BCS school in Syracuse next week. Probably not, but I can at least hope! Sorry, Paul, nothing personal - I'm a Zippy alum...
Wow, some upsets on day 1, could this be as crazy a year as last year? Doubt it but never know!
On another note, I hate living in Big10 crap conference country. I have the Michigan St and Cal game on. Was SO looking forward to the Clemson/Bama game. Damn ABC and ESPN.
Although I don't care for Michigan at all, except for when the play OSU, I tuned in to see what Rich is doing. With some time he is going to turn the Big10 upside down and inside out. Hell, OSU even ran some option and the Liberty formation with Pryor in today. What is the world coming to when the BigTen is opening things up LOL.

I live in Minnesota and we got the Bama game. I ain't bitching.
Michigan defense played a stout 2nd half. The offense has a long way to go. I will book my rooms early for the Liberty Bowl.

Kevin:
Syracuse is a BCS school in name only. It is a pathetic shell of a football program.
I would not be the LEAST bit surprised if Akron beats SU next Saturday at the Dome. Not one bit.
