So how many pitchers do you recommend SF?

Dave, you don't need to do anything except for order your rosters. It'll draft it for ya.

I may be there late and need to leave early. Is it possible to switch on and off the autopilot if we have a pick list?

Blub,

When you go to the league page, there is a place that you click on to "enter draft." Once you have done that you're in control. If you close that window or don't enter it, it'll be on autopilot. You don't need to do anything special...just click to log in and take control, and close the window to log out to let the auto-pilot take over. The key is logging out, because if you don't then we gotta wait the whole 1:30 for the timer to MAKE you pick. So just be sure if you've gotta leave, you leave the draft room.

Hey guys, I am sorry but I need back out from this :(. I got too many other things on my plate now and I don't want to take a bunch of good players just to sit around do nothing with my team. That does not benefit anyone.

I can't find where to delete my team though, does the creator of the league need to that. Team Tucson Warriors.

Edit: Found it and deleted my team. Good luck all.

I'd still be willing to sign up, but I unfortunately wouldn't be able to make the draft tonight.

I'll be there with my magic 8-ball to help with decisions. Believe it or not, this will be my first fantasy baseball league....ever. I've been in football ones for a long time, but this is quite different. So much for taking 2 weeks to prepare, more like 2 hours

I think you can be absent from the draft and still play. You have to rank all your players and then the game automatically picks based on your rankings. I have no idea how well this works...but it might be good for your situation.

I think we should add another pitcher to make 9. 13 to 8 is a big disparity. Most leagues I have seen and played in are 13/9. Just my opinion.

From ESPN Fantasy Baseball Rules:

ACTIVE ROSTER
BATTING - 13 PLAYERS PITCHING -- 9 PLAYERS
1-First Baseman (1B)
1-Second Baseman (2B)
1-Shortstop (SS)
1-Third Baseman (3B)
1-Catcher (C)
5-Outfielders (OF)
1-Middle Infielder (2B/SS)
1-Corner Infielder (1B/3B)
1-Utility Player (UTIL)
9-Pitchers -- any combination

s***! Sorry guys. I planned on "attending" the draft, but I'm working late...and actually working. I'm gonna have to roll the dice with autodraft.

Have fun everyone.

BTW, a 9th pitcher was added to balance out the scoring like snate suggested.

I'm there and waiting.

Pigpen, the main page of the league (follow DBs link on page 2 of this thread) has a link to it. It's a new window that will pop up and take you in. No additional software needed.

Are you serious Jack...you're not in it? Oh crap man, I'm sorry. We've been trying to fill the thing for the last 2 weeks and you didn't say anything in any of the three or so threads we had open about it. I thought you got in it originally.

It would have helped a lot if everyone in the league used their DSP names rather than just making s*** up, because I had no idea who was who and even if you see who the owner is, half the guys don't use their same DSP as their yahoo name.

I'm so sorry man...that just sucks. My mistake...I thought you got in it the first day. I even got your email address from you as if you were in it. Now I feel bad, because it was your idea, I just offered to run it.

Jack,

If I'm signed up which I don't think I am, I'd be more than happy to give up my spot. Hope it works out for you.

That bites Jack. It was pretty chaotic at draft time since many of us had different logins on yahoo than on DS, so it was real tough to figure out who was there, not to mention who wasn't.

Anyway, you probably saved yourself five bucks. Judging from the number of "dammits" I had from sfz taking the picks I wanted and some nice sleeper choices, I think he's definitely the one to beat.

DB, can you pm your Paypal info? Thanks.
