They added a clock?sportdan30 wrote:I guess I'm easy to please. I like the addition of the clock and being able to turn off the system in a new way. I don't have much use for the trophy system as of yet, nor do I think anyone does at this time.

Not to be silly but, what is the "new way" to turn off the system? I must have missed this new feature. Thanks in advance!sportdan30 wrote:I guess I'm easy to please. Well, I only did it one time, but as I recall if you scroll to the left with the left stick, it's in the last row or second to last row. I can't remember which, but there's a big greenish blue looking power button. So, instead of having to press the PS button and then pressing it again, you can use this button. I think you still have to press the button twice. I guess the only time I'll use it is when I'm on the dashboard. I usually just use the PS button when I'm done with a game and ready to turn off the system. I guess it's not really that cool, but it was new and different.HockeyJock wrote:Not to be silly but, what is the "new way" to turn off the system? I must have missed thism new feature. I think I have 5. I never thought I would care, but I must since I am trying to get a few.jLp vAkEr0 wrote:3 Stardust HD trophies acquired.![]()
Does anyone know if Uncharted will support trophies? I would rent the game just to finish it (again) and get a couple of trophies from it.
I remember reading that the Uncharted publisher was not planning to do anything extra with DLC, so I doubt they are going to do anything with trophies, but one can hold out hope.

Cool! I love being wrong. If we could get some trophies in F1, I would be sitting pretty.grtwhtsk wrote:Looks like Uncharted will have it at some point...

Lots of stuff. PixelJunk Eden demo ... also a summer sale so you can pick up the bowling and poker games for $4.99. Several others on sale as well, including PixelJunk Monsters, which is well worth the money.
I also picked up 1942, but do not have strong opinions yet for this one ($9.99).

I spent most of my time with High Stakes - what an addictive online game. And I am not much of an online gamer.jLp vAkEr0 wrote:Looking foward to your 1942 impressions.
HV Bowling intrigues me for $5.
My very first impressions of HV Bowling was that I like the Wii Sports Bowling game better. Probably not fair to compare the two, but I only played one game.
No real impressions of 1942. I could not find anyone online to play with (for online co-op mode). I getting too old for this type of game; reflexes are not what they used to be. Other than saying the background graphics are pretty, I will have to reserve further comment until I get some real time with the game this weekend.

I agree, Dan...I only played for 15 minutes or so, but it reminded me of a cross between Motor Storm and the old PS1 game, Cool Boarders. I don't know if I'd buy it or not, but I'll play the hell out of the demo this weekend.sportdan30 wrote:Sadly, no NBA Live demo for the PS3, however Pure is an absolute blast to play! I enjoyed it more than the Star Wars demo from last week.
