Thanks, Naples-I finally got this one to upload, and I think it's my favorite so far. I give you...the TMNT National Series #03 (another one for my kiddos!)

I may just squeeze by a poker night here & there but we'll see. Another rule of thumb, everyone else should have a two lap advantage' on Terry and his Bro.
Just testing the waters to see what kind of response I get. I know how you guys feel about not wanting to commit and letting the rest of the field down on race day. Maybe we could just try and get a decent "Poker Night" race field going on a certain day? This game is going to be around for awhile without anything to topple it from its 360 racing throne for awhile so no hurry. I'll post over at OS too and see if anyone there wants in.
@ Teal: Dude you continue to out do yourself in paintbooth. That dew car is siiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!!!
Yeah...I like the idea too but its just too hard to commit to it.

The poker night has a much better chance.
Great game.
Definitely. Let's get one going next week sometime. I'm itching to get a veteran set-up, no change-only race going again. The online peeps are killing me.

Well as long as Im around you will have someone to beat
not to change the subject, but a lot of you guys mentioned GRID on our nascar online races. Do you consider GRID better than nascar? I looked at a GRID video and it reminded me of TOCA on xbox with the different types of cars. Is this game basically Toca but on the 360? I really liked what I saw in the vids.

It's a more arcadey TOCA. It's really alot of fun to race most of the car types. It's just not the least bit of a sim, except that you can wreck out, and the wrecks can be spectacular. You oughta rent it and join us tomorrow night, as zepp or I will replace the-now 360-less mixer in doing the poker nights...

Best Buy has it for 50 bucks this week. I think I will buy it. If it's like toca, then I will love it, toca was the best racing game I ever played. I like the mix of arcade and sim so that will do me well. Only thing I am afraid of now is if it's half as fun as toca was, then I may never touch nascar again.

Its definately different. It takes a little while to get used to the feel of the cars. Its alot easier too...which Is why I like it
I downloaded the GRID demo and it's pretty good. Didn't exactly feel that sense of speed as some sites say, but maybe it's because it's the demo. did like the different types of cars and seems like a fun game.
Still love those Nascar challenges though which I find are very hard to master. That's one thing they absolutely got right in NASCAR this year, those challenges. One some of them, I must have finally beat my Driver Challenge opponent on my 30th try.
As for the races, I'm finding the game a bit easy. I will tweak w/ the options. Still can't figure which camera I like. I like the one on the roof and on the road, but only limitation to those are you can't see other cars on your side as you do w/ the top views. But w/ the top views, you don't get that same sense of speed you do w/ the roof and road views. What cam are you guys using?
Im messing with setups for super speedways trying to get over the 200 MPH mark...No matter what I try I can only get up to 196...Anyone wanna share the magic set up?..or is it just a matter of getting the right line after a certain point?

First try powering up your engine with performance points.
If that still doesn't get you there, it may be because superspeedways are restrictor-plate races where your car speed is capped. Try going to the fastest of the normal speedways where your engine is uncapped. I think I hit 200mph for the first time on Atlanta.
Also, for sim racers I'm a roof cam guy, and bring up the rearview with B.

Yay for more cars. I'm liking Teal's TMNT and Mario Kart cars, and felt inspired to do another.
I wanted to do a purple car, so I did a blast from the past--John Andretti's purple little caesar's car from the mid-90s. It was my car of choice way back when playing Nascar Racing by Papyrus on DOS.
Also, if anyone is using my City car, I uploaded a new version with minor fixes and much more 'neon-ish' green color, which I think is more faithful. Also some minor changes to my Flyers car, though I doubt people use that one. Making these things is pretty addictive!
