Celtics are in the finals. Damn, how long I've waited! :D
Don't get too excited...they are gonna get rolled.
Good call.

You've been watching the West for to long.
Yeah...bad call...but I didn't seem to realize the advantages the Celtics had were more significant than I thought. The west is still a MUCH better conference. The Celts were definitely superior to the Lakers though...guess it was a good matchup for them. I definitely look silly saying that now...agreed.

And Paul Pierce...he was awesome but...god what a f'n crybaby. Oh my knee...carry me, put me in a wheelchair...now let me go play. LOL...what a crock.

Damn, people can't let it go sometimes.

I don't remember seeing or hearing Pierce asking for a wheelchair or asking to be carted off to the locker room.

I don't understand how some would even think he staged what happened. It's INSANE.

The guy ALWAYS jumps up whenever he gets knocked down. He heard something pop and felt a sharp pain in the knee. I'm still trying to find someone actually involved in basketball or having played it for real (not called Phill Jackson or Bill Plachske) try to imply the guy was faking a injury or just staging it.

I was just glad that he wasn't hurt. At first I thought he was done and was relieved when he jogged back. He even said he was embarrassed by the carrying off and the wheelchair. I guess we will see the extent of the injury in the next few weeks.

The NBA is full of babies. I hate how they carry on about foul calls. Perkins is the worst. According to him, he never fouls. If he continues to react the way he does, the refs will continue to call it.

It is almost as bad as soccer.

That's why Perkins will always be a foul prone player. Refs don't give him a break because he complains on every call.

Never said he faked it...said he was a baby. There is a difference. And this is the first I've talked of the finals since they started, so it ain't like I've been harping on it or anything.

I love Ray Allen. I wish the Bucks never would've gotten rid of him. However, I thought he was being a wuss when he got poked in the eye and never even tried to get back down the court. I've had that happen, and it hurts like a b*tch, but he could've sucked it up and at least tried to get back and play some defense.

How could he play defense if he couldn't see? He might have ran right into the basket support, knocked himself out then not tie an NBA Finals 3-point record!

I thought it was cool how they showed the real slow motion replay of the play he got hurt were he laid it in with his eyes closed. Not that tough of a shot, but pretty cool none the less.

Allen probably doesn't get that open in practice the way he got open for those 3's in game 6.
