$50 is still too much for a game that will have a 3 month run. I'd rather pay full price for FIFA '09 as it will get all of the improvements of UEFA 2008.

Funny thing is I can't think of too many games I've played more than two months, let alone 3. Previous versions of Pro Evo have been about the only games that have had that kind of staying power.

Best wishes,

Doug

This game will be a definite rental from gamefly for me.

I think it releases today. Looking forward to this one, since I dont have Pro Evo 08 or FIFA 08 for my 360-footie fix.

I may grab it, seeing as there's really nothing else on the horizon between now and NCAA, and I do love both FIFA 08 and the demo.

Paid for... Will be playing tomorrow. Fifa 08 is a very solid game and I we've seen the improvement in EURO. I'm really looking forward to this.

Also, props to EA for giving more points to players using lesser ranked teams... maybe we'll see less Barca and Madrid online.

or

maybe not :)

Just picked this up and have been playing for the past hour or so. The demo is very representative of the gameplay in the final version, so you know what you're getting. I LOVE the overall style and feeling that they've put into it, seems to capture feeling of the EURO tourney. The commentators are constantly throwing out little bits of EURO trivia and talking about how special the games are. The players are far more facially expressive than in FIFA. Captain Your Country looks like it could be a lot of fun but I'm still trying to figure it all out. The different scenarios in the Story of Qualifying mode are very cool, like taking over England when they were up 1 - 0 at 69 minutes over Russia and actually winning the game.

One thing is for damn sure England will be qualifying and then winning EURO 2008 in my version of the tournament. :D

Mac, England will be a flop in the tourney, you just watch  . Now, How's the passing sysitem? I had to turn the meter off in the demo as I found it almost useless, and how do you like the thru passes? Is there an improvement on headers and is the OTP still there?
