Since Philly went up 2-1, Detroit has won 2 straight and is on the verge of putting away the series tonight.

Probably karma for Dalembert's stupid haircut.

HOW ABOUT THOSE PESKY HAWKS!!!!!

I was there again again last night and am still riding the "high" of winning and forcing a game seven! The Hawks have got to figure out a way to beat Boston at home. If they can somehow win game seven it would be one of the greatest upsets in NBA history!

Boy, was that Hawks/Celtics game 7 ever the disappointment.
Talk about a "Jekyll and Hyde" team! The game was over at the half!
I will be interested to see how Boston plays against the rest of the competition. In the meantime, I am choosing to remember games
3,4 and 6 and erase 1,2,5 and 7 permanently from my memory banks :)

Looking forward to it! :D

BTW, it's amazing how fast a town can go from, "F*** PAPA JOHN'S!!! I WILL NEVER EAT THAT CRAP AGAIN!" to "Twenty-three cents! Cool!!!" :D

Well if last night was any indication, the Celts-Cavs series is gonna be a slugfest and should go at least 6 games.

Yeah, what a great game. Except for the outcome, of course. :D

If you would have told me beforehand that LeBron would go 2 for 18, I figure we lose by 30. And Pierce and Allen COMBINING for four points? Crazy.

GO CAVS!!! Should have won last night. You hold Pierce and Allen to that little points, you should win. I want to see Lebron & Co. beat those silly green people. Pierce looks fat and slow to me. He has lost a lot of quickness and I hate the way he just lowers his shoulder and "bulls" his way towards the basket, trying to draw a foul in the process. That's not basketball IMO. The refs really need to figure out a way to stop calling fouls where the offensive playing is initiating everything.

Not like Pierce does it. He doesn't "slash" he just leans and barrels into you.
I never really noticed how much he does it until watching the last Hawks/Celtics series closely. How are you supposed to defend that type of move? You can either plant yourself and try and draw the offensive foul or keep moving and get called for a foul. He does this a lot when there is no other offensive options and it must be frustrating on the defender. He is smart though, because he will wait until you start moving with him and then he starts his "lean and plow" move. I guess I'm pissed cause the Hawks had no answer for that play :)

If that's really how you feel, it seems like this is the only NBA basketball you've seen in a while, a LONG while.

If the Lakers play the Celtics in the Finals, it'll be interesting to see if Pierce and other Celtics get calls.

Lakers have shot 46 and 43 FTs in the first two games against the Jazz.

Shades of Lakers vs. Sacto and many other series.

I know nobody cares but here's a little followup on the LeBron James 23-cent pizza deal at Papa John's today... HILARIOUS!!!... and it's only gonna get worse if any of the stores run out of pizza... cars will be burning... the one in my suburb (Euclid) leads in arrests so far!!!!... we're taking bets at work... :D I wanted to stop on the way home... oh well, not anymore...

The Celts are doing exactly what the Spurs did to Lebron in last years finals.

Considering that Lebron's supporting cast is a bit better this year, it's pretty impressive. It must be frustrating for him because even when he gets free, he double clutches in the lane and can't hit open j's.

I'm still expecting this series to go at least 6, but the C's only need to steal 1 game in Cleveland and it's over.

LeBron looks terrible. What's with that look on his face, even before the game last night? Like his confidence is totally shot. And why did Z disappear after the first quarter? We finally had SOMEBODY hitting their shots, and Boston nips that in the bud right away. :(

Oh well, coming home's gotta help, but it looks like we'll be the lucky ones if we can "steal one" at home, as backwards as that sounds. :(

I am expecting the tide to change once they go to Cleveland. Lebron will get a few more calls and that will open up other things. The C's have not shown they can play the same on the road.

I fully expect the Cavs to win games 3 & 4 and make a series of it.

I still see it as the Celtics in 7 with the home team winning every game.

Boston has to show some more consistency on the road.

Hey javi, NBA Ballers got bad reviews.

Maybe it will hit the bargain bin.

Yeah. C's had a chance last night, but the offense didn't do anything in the 4th. You gotta give credit to the Cavs D for most of that.

Lol, Ballers would be good online.

Hornets blow out San Antonio again! What a series and get ready for game six Thursday night back at San Antonio! Hopefully New Orleans plays better at San Antonio this time because in game four they were terrible.

Look for the Lakers to get 40-45 FT attempts in Game 5.

Jazz will be lucky to get half that many.
