Yeah, I saw that too. I don't think there's enough context to it to say yay or nay on the look.

Looks rough but promising, I think Heath will do a great job. I can't wait for this movie (more so than Spidey 3).

just in this 2 minute trailer, it appears Ledger is going to kill as The Joker.

Yeah I saw the trailer before I Am Legend, and he looks much better in the trailer than in that pic. It didn't even sound like him, either, which is comforting. I couldn't picture Ledger's voice on the Joker for the life of me.

The trailer before I Am Legend looked great. He manages to pull off the craziness of the Joker and the laugh really well from what I saw. Batman's new bike looks pretty badass too.

Yeah, it seems like Ledger's going for a Jack Nicholson sound, albeit darker. I was worried about the casting before...I'm not worried anymore. He looks great...

With all this Iron Man talk.....

Here is the new trailer for The Dark Knight. I suspect Heath Ledger will be nominated for an Oscar posthumously.

Seriously. Especially with the cost of movies these days. It cost my wife and I $50 to watch Iron Man and buy some snacks and drinks 8O. The one good thing is the new movie complex in this area now has free refills, a welcome change for someone like me who drinks diet soda like water:)

If you get the large soft drink, you can stay right where you are and never miss a minute of the movie...

I can't wait until the 18th. The reviews are starting to come in, and are all very positive for this flick. Most everyone is predicting an Oscar for Ledger and maybe even a Best Picture nod and Director for Chris Nolan. Most theaters have added 12am, 3am and 6am shows due to all of the sellouts. A lot of comparisons to Godfather II, Empire Strikes, Back and Heat.

Yeah, it really sucks that most people will think Ledger is getting the Oscar because he died, when in fact, he did a ridiculously good job as the joker and he really does deserve it. It's just too bad he won't be able to enjoy the accolades.

Yeah, I actually had a conversation with some coworkers who shared that viewpoint, (that he would win a sympathy Oscar). What's actually funny is that the majority of Batman fanboys was upset or had little faith that he could pull the role off, now he is being hailed as the best portrayal of the character whether it be movie, tv, animated or comic book.

Those Batman fanboys doesn't know crap. I was very excited when I heard Ledger was casted as Joker. After watching Broke Back mountain, I know he can channel the inner angst/conflict into Joker and make it sinister. Don't know why people doubt him when he was clearly getting better and better at his craft.

Just got back from the midnight screening of the Dark Knight.

Wow.

While I liked Batman Begins it didn't particularly blow me away - this movie, however, was just incredible. I loved the script and the acting by Ledger and Aaron Eckhart was great.

Yeah, this movie is all I expected. But I knew it would be going in. Heath Ledger was great, if he doesn't win an Oscar, I can't wait to see the role/performance that actually does win. He truly epitomizes the character, and I suspect this will be "The" version of the character that will be the standard going forward. What's sad, is I don't know where the filmmakers can go from here as I really don't think that they can top this film. Going again this afternoon as the wife wants to check it out.
