How about crashing the net more? He's seeing all the shots. Habs forwards are not moving their feet, no screening going on, they have to play with more desperation. We'll see what happens in the last period.

I couldn't agree more. In fact, Al Morganti mentioned that the Habs should risk a penalty by taking a run at Biron, just to attempt to rattle him.

I agree with most of that as in crashing and screening ...but

Al morganti is a f***in dildo...If I hear the dick say "The NHL is down cause the Rangers are bad" one more year I will find the creeps house.
THE NHL is NOT the Rangers AL you piece of s***.

I dont go for that intentionally going after the goalie bullshit....I dont know how many Cups have been won that way but Im guessing ZERO!

Incredible effort by the Flyers tonight. They once again blow a 2 goal lead, yet find a way in the end. Briere has been worth every penny during these playoffs. Biron was outstanding. You can't really fault him for either goal.

Yeah, Morganti is a jackass. I can't stand listening to him. Every comment he makes he's always giggling like no one else approaches his hockey IQ. He's tough to take.

Nope!

Flyers could have folded for the night but they decided to win the game instead.

RJ Umberger!!! Hot a s afirecracker. 6 goals in 4 games :) Just think, he was on the 4th line to start the playoffs. If not for Knuble getting hurt he might still be there.

I can't help but think tonight's game, and the last 10 minutes of the third period in particular, was the series at stake.

If Habs had won the game, you had to like their chances with the series tied and2 of the final 3 at home after clearly carrying the play in the last three games. But sure enough the Flyers dug deep and found the well again, now you have to expect them to continue to smother the Habs and find one more win.

Its been a strange series...thats for sure. Hockey playoffs come down to goaltending and heart.

Flyers have the edge in both.

Kudos to the Flyers for getting this far. Let's remember these guys were at the bottom of the league last year and to be up 3-1 on the Habs is an accomplishment. Having said that, if there's a team that can lose a lead in a series like this one, is the Flyers. I just feel that MON can give more than what they had so far...

I am definitely enjoying the ride after last year's debacle. Flyers are up 3-1 but I am not comfortable :) I just keep waiting for Montreal to explode and the breaks start going their way. They have had so many quality chances in the series so far.

I think Montreal is done. Biron just has that mojo of a goalie that is going to carry his team a long, long way, like Rolie in 2005-06 for the Oilers.

Carbonneau showed balls to start Halak, and it still didn't work.

Patty Marleau finally has shown up for San Jose in that series. Still, San Jose is toast.

Take care,
PK

Babcock, Boudreau and Carbonneau nominated for Jack Adams. My pick is Boudreau, easy. That team was going nowhere under Hanlon and had something like a .650 winning percentage under Boudreau.

I think Stevens was more deserving of a nomination than Babcock or Carbonneau. Philly came a long, long way this season.

Take care,

Why they call him Paddy Marleau? That last name sounds French-Canadian than Irish.

Thornton is the one who needs to show up for the Sharks.

Problem is, they can't score more than 2 goals on Turco so Nabakov has to hold them to 1 or shut them out.

Sharks defense has been shaky tho, often outworked and out-positioned, depending on the goalie to bail them out.

Who calls him Paddy Marleau? That's the first I've seen that spelling. I've seen Patty or Patrick. Marleau sounds French-Canadian, but Marleau was born in Saskatchewan.

You're damn straight about Thornton, though. The guy simply doesn't show up when it counts. It's a hallmark of his career.

I didn't think the Pens were that good to be up 3-0 in the series, with a bounce here and there this series could easily be tied 2-2. Rangers played a strong game and they had a few of PIT's stars rattled tonight, strong game by J. Jagr.

I really need to start taking the multivitamin that Johan Frantzen has gulped down every morning the last two weeks. Incredible performance.

Looked hopeless, down 0-2 in the third, giving up a penalty to Dallas with about 15 minutes left.

Beyond that, Dallas kept getting good chances while SJ struggled to sustain possession.

Turned to something else and was surprised to learn this morning they'd come back.

Barry Melrose said Dallas should start to feel pressure now. But these have all been 1-goal games and SJ has struggled to score even 2 goals.

Not good to be one game from elimination and each games have been tossups.

Price you suck !!!

Sad play boy...

EDIT#1: He has been terrible!

EDIT#2 :Watching the highlights at intermission...I was too kind...Price should be taken away quietly...DISGRACEFUL!

EDIT#3 : MUCH of the blame should go to Guy and Bob for putting so much on this not so ready for prime time kid....What a waste!!!!
