That is a good review and is fair, but right off the bat they say how difficult it is to pitch in 2K and that is just not the case. Yes, to quickly review a game, pushing a button is less complicated, but after giving it time, 2K pitching works and is quite fun.

Other than that, I cannot argue his other points.
I really liked the pitching set-up that 2K has. I only own a PS3 so the framerate and freezing issues took away any enjoyment I had with the game. The Show is best option I have for baseball this year. Gameplay is steller and I enjoy the fact I can play a game without the fear of a freeze up. 2K really let the PS3 owners down this year. Maybe next year. I can only hope. IMO the more good baseball games the better.
has anyone ever had an argument with an ump? I haven't seen a single one, and never thought of it until I was reading the tips section and they have an ump argument one?!?

I believe there was a mention of a system update on Major Nelson's site today.

I think its an option you have turn on.
Ya, but mine has been turned on since the beginning......
I'll chalk it up to being like Steals: They never happen.

I've played about 20 games, and have seen about 6 or 7 arguments. I was involved in about half, the other half were CPU.

Wow, really? I'll have to double check my settings then, I'm pretty sure it's on. I've played all or parts of way more then 20 games and have yet to see one.
I wonder if this is a case of by me adjusting an unrelated slider, it messed this up? Hmmmm...... (or perhaps i'm just a dumbass who accidently turned it off)
I'm tired of waiting for rosters so I just ordered a transfer kit and a memory card so I can check out Chris Nelson's roster set (from the OS forums). Apparently he does a much better job than 2k anyway.
Should be able to start my season sometime next week..... finally.

So 2K didn't have 2K share in this game. That's pretty bad. One of the best features doesn't get tranfered to their other games.

No... and I fully agree with you. Like in game saves, that should be standard in sports games today.
I'd like to post my sliders here also and see what everyone thinks.
Please dont judge based on the numbers, experience the gameplay first.

Last two games have been completely different,
STL 1, COL 10 (could not hit Jeff Francis, he kept changing speeds on me had me off balance the whole game). Didnt write down the box score.
Just played brewers.
STL 4 9 0 (3 solo HRs)
MIL 5 8 0
CPU brought in Gagne to close leading 5-3....GOt behind the first hitter 3-1, but grounded out with Molina....Kennedy hit a 3-1 fastball off the right field foul pole to cut it to 5-4....Pinch hitter Miles singled to left center....Izturis grounded out to end the game.
3 CPU Pitchers threw 100 pitches, 76 strikes, 24 balls.
Is it me or do these rosters look the same as the previous ones? I'm checking some teams and don't see any updates like pitchers on the DL in real life.
thats why i said screw it and started mine a few weeks back. the updates are never anything to go ga-ga over anyways. I have never been big on rosters, only if there is a huge blockbuster deal would i want updates, and those you can handle yourself.
oddly enough this game reminds me of the days i used to love playing all-star baseball on the ps2, around the same time triple play was in it's last year. It was buggy and all but you can still get some very good games in there.
