The Sixers are quietly becoming a very entertaining team to watch. They are winning so much now (18-5 since Feb 5) that it isn't just a fluke. They have beaten San Antonio, Orlando, Boston (road), Phoenix (road), and Detroit (road) during that span. Andre Iguodala is really developing in to a great player, Andre Miller is a very consistent and underrated point guard, and Dalembert has been holding his own guarding big men like Duncan and Garnett one-on-one. The Sixers run at every opportunity and the energy guys like Young, Carney, and Lou Williams bring to the game is infectous. The great thing is Billy King isn't around to make a poor trade or give Calvin Booth a max contract. In fact, I believe the Sixers will have tons of cap room after the season.

Philly has just caught fire and took off. Now Atlanta is battling with the Nets and Indiana for that #8 playoff spot in the East.Leebo33 wrote:The Sixers are quietly becoming a very entertaining team to watch. In the two games the Warriors played against the Sixers, I noticed the athleticism, not just of AI but Carney and Williams.
Up and coming team.
But there are other teams playing the running game well at times, including Toronto.
Portland was playing it well earlier in the season but they've kind of fell back.

Ugh.... I'm dreading a 2nd round series vs the Wizards.lexbur wrote:Yeah, I'll be rooting for the Hawks to extend that series as long as possible too, but it's looking like the Celtics will get a nice long rest while the Cavs and Wizards beat each other up for six or seven games, all just to see who gets beat by Boston in the second round.
They give the C's a lot of trouble.

Horford's yapping will asure the Celts will come out with avengence tonight.JackB1 wrote:Holy Crap...The HAWKS BEAT THE CELTICS!!!!
I was at the game and it was one of the best games I have ever been to in my life. The atmosphere at the arena was electric and the young Hawks shocked the Celtics. If Atlanta can repeat Mon. nite, we will really have something to talk about.
GO HAWKS!!!!
I kinda liked the kid having the moxy to do that, but his team will pay for it.

Unbelievable! I was at the game again and there will be a game 6 in Atlanta Fri! Hard to say who has the upper hand now in the series? Atlanta has the momentum, but Boston won easily in Boston.
On a side note, Garnett may be suspended for pushing the referee in the altercation last night with Zaza Pachulia.

She works for Steve Kerr and the rest of the front office. So the only thing that would suck is if Sarver cleans house...but then again, he's the one who hired her in the first place. So I'm safe for a while...lol.lexbur wrote:Lots of rumors today that D"Antoni's done in Phoenix. What would that mean for your mom? Would she follow him to another team? Would this mean no more courtside seats and going to practices? That would suck.dbdynsty25 wrote:Another year, another loss to the Spurs.
That's cool, I thought she worked directly for the coach.dbdynsty25 wrote:She works for Steve Kerr and the rest of the front office. So the only thing that would suck is if Sarver cleans house...but then again, he's the one who hired her in the first place. So I'm safe for a while...lol.
Seems like heads will be rollin' out there.

Well...last year, before Kerr got there, Mike was the GM as well...so essentially she was working for him. Now Kerr is the GM...so she is his assistant. Basically she works for whomever is running the team. Nothing is official in the office according to mom...so we'll see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised either way really.lexbur wrote:That's cool, I thought she worked directly for the coach.dbdynsty25 wrote:She works for Steve Kerr and the rest of the front office.
