I wish there is a Fry's here in NYC.

Anyway we could get that deal online? I can't find it on their site.

I've *never* been one to collect games and leave them unopened, but I have Metroid for the Wii and The Orange Box in shrink rap from the Toys R' Us sale. COD4 may as well be in shrink rap as I opened it just to see how it looks, but promised myself I'd finish Halo 3 first (used a BB coupon and rewards cert to purchase). I also really want to play Unchartered, Assassin's Creed, and Mass Effect. Not to mention Mario Galaxy is in heavy rotation, Tiger Woods and FIFA get some play, and if patches for the EA football games ever get released... Holy crap, did I mention NBA 2K8?

It's a great time to be a gamer. I probably have enough in current and future purchases to make it through the spring. I wish I had enough willpower to keep the non-sports fall releases until spring/summer...but you know 8O

College Hoops too just to add to your gaming dilemma.

I'm looking forward to Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway - but it is delayed until March :( Right now NHL08, COD4 (MP and SP)033
and NBA2K8 are getting my time. I plan on getting back into HL2 soon...I want to finish that trilogy by the end of the year if possible. Halo3 is catching dust.

I'm a little soured on Mass Effect from what I've read- it sounds like there are serious framerate issues, some brain dead AI, and a storyline that is fundamentally KOTOR minus Jedis. That said, I'm still leaning towards it over Assassin's Creed (love the setting, but sandbox games are generally not my thing). For the moment, I'm playing COD4, Halo 3 and FIFA daily, and getting in NHL whenever I can catch a league game. I was playing a fair amount of Madden for a while to get ready for the patch, but I don't have the time to invest in a 45 minute online game with a random these days.

Well, I just got Super Mario Galaxy and am loving it (I usually don't like 3D Mario games). Contra 4, My Word Coach, and My Spanish Coach for the DS are next on the list. I was hoping Pro Evo 2008 (Wii) was coming out in the US this year, so that will have to wait.

I'm pretty stocked up for the next few months with Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy, Zak & Wiki and MLB Power Pros on the Wii.

Only things I see on the horizon are Okami, Pro Evolution, and Super Mario Kart.

For the 360, I'm considering trading in a bunch of games for College Hoops, which would be added to the rotation of Winning Eleven 9 (old school!) and Guitar Hero 3.

I think I will pull the trigger on College Hoops this weekend to add to my playlist of GH3, NCAA 2008, Halo 3, and recently Carcassonne. Christmas might bring Mass Effect, and/or Assassin's Creed. I can't remember ever having so many games to play.
