I missed out on last week's COD poker night. Since this is the flavor of the month and probably of the holiday season, I think we could see a huge DSP/OS Poker Night.

Say the usual time...

10:30 Eastern Tuesday.

I really want to get in this time. I still haven't tried the multiplayer, cause I'm really not big on 10 yr. olds screaming at me

. It would be nice to get my feet wet with some guys I know are good guys.

Metman, this one it VERY playable with randoms. I suggest plugging in the headset and no wearing it, with the volume down and the switch set to off. It'll help you to unlock the red dot sight for a particular weapon as well, which you can only do in ranked matches.

The idiotic trash talking is nowhere near as bad as Halo 3, but every now and then you still run into a bunch of idiots. It is bearable.

My connection has seemed to really be on the fritz tonight...connection to WoW server was at like 500ms, I can't connect to anybody's game on COD4, so I think I'm probably out unless I can somehow magically connect in 30 minutes.

I can't connect on COD 4 either.

That was so fun, yet so frustrating. Looking at my connection, if I shot directly at somebody, I'd never hit them. I had to shoot ahead of wherever they were to get a kill, and if it came to a knife fight, I'd see my knife jab in and come back...then they'd kill me with a jab. Was like a 1/2 second delay in animations, so I eventually took all I could and had to log out. I've played the game quite a bit on "normal" connection speeds, and that was dreadful but still somehow fun.
