I´m fine with the fact that you may not like it, but garbage?!? After what, 1 day of playing? I can´t wait until ASB comes out. Now that game was garbage last year.

One day is really all I need. I didn´t like last years, and this years is more of the same, with a few nice tweaks.

I admitted in the other thread that it´s greatly improved over last year...but it´s not baseball. Some people like it, some don´t...is that to hard to understand?

Are you going to leave the board again Matt? I didn´t mean to insult your game.
When did I say slightly tweaked? I said a few nice tweaks...which in turn made it a greatly improved game. I love it when guys ´infer´ things. Read, then comment...don´t assume. You´re turning into Siam.

Nope...I think they were looking into a notification system of some sort. I wish there was one as well, since I NEVER check mine unless someone tells me they sent one.

Well, just to add to this love-in....traded in MVP ( after 1 day no less...I know i know) and re-installed HH2004 which I havent played in quite some time. Installed and all the mods in less than 1/2 hour, Katanna´s latest rosters with the 2004 schedule and loved the whole experience.

Opening day vs Detroit (I´m Jays) score 4-2 for me. 10-8 hits....I walked 4 times and gave up 2. Was a good fundamental game of baseball. Not knocking MVP, just not my style I think and you never know, if after a month or two and people have the issues worked out I might re-purchase.

Going to try WSB next and see what´s what though I didn´t play it much last year. Some of the other titles will definitely get a look as well. Hearing a lot of good things for MLB from some of you so ill definitely give those a try.

Thought i had learned my lesson not to blow my wad and buy a game first day/release...guess not.

Grog no doubt!!! I bought into the hype and got spanked. MVP is not my cup of joe. To all those that like it I wish them good gaming.

Glad to hear your back into HH again. If I had a decent gaming computer that would be the only baseball game I would be have. Hell with all the mods that are out there you can get all the new ballparks. You can´t beat that. Enjoy!!

Man, what do you expect from a CANE FAN?? Hugs and cute little bunnies??

To add to the MVP love fest, I put it on half.com. I will keep playing it till it sells, but I am just not feeling the love. I actually enjoy playing minor league games more than major league.

I won´t say this game is junk - it isn´t by a long shot. It is a huge improvement over last year and is a very deep game. But I will say this: EA really needs to improve the graphics. The great animations are lost in mediocre graphics. Surprisingly, Sega/ESPN has moved passed EA in this category.

I skipped HH 2004 PC (although did have it for the Xbox), and now regret it. Are there issues under XP? Anyone know somewhere (other than ebay) where it might still be for sale?

Worst case scenario (ie the other games also disappoint): How was HH 2004 on Xbox? I didn´t play it last year, and with updated rosters, it would be "new" to me.
It´s not a bad game in any stretch of the imagination. It plays a realistic brand of baseball.....however. There´s always a however. Imagine buying some potato chips at the store and forgetting you had them after a year or so. You go to open them up...take a bite....yep, you guessed it....stale stale stale. That´s the atmosphere. It makes it very difficult to play through a season on there. As Pk would say, it´s as dry as popcorn fart. Rent it first.

HH2004...no issues at all under XP, in the bargain bin somewhere I imagine.
