There are instructions (with screenshots too which is handy) at these links;

http://blogs.ign.com/xheavenxsentx/2006/12/09/39684/

and

http://www.i-hack.org/game-consoles/pla ... count.html

It's pretty straightforward using either of those two guides.

College Hoops 2K8 demo is up for the PS3......and not the 360? Wow.

Would love to hear impressions guys.

Also, would love to hear impressions on Drake's Fortune.

Great download day for the PS3 gamers.

You'll be waiting a while Dan because the servers are down ATM. I tried to login to the PS Store and I waited around 5 minutes before I decided to try again later.

Anyone check out the Drake demo?

It's really quite short but in what I did see I was impressed by the graphics (love when the guy's shirt gets wet....er...wait, that came out wrong!) and particularly the ton of different animations the main character has. The combat and cover system is decent (cover is kind of like in Gears of War) and while targeting is good I wonder about the health of the bad guys - unless I shoot them in the head I have to sometimes empty half a clip to take them down!

You hardly get a chance to experience much of the platforming in the game.

I still think I'll pick this up (when I finish playing orangeboxcod4pes2008bioshockandmasseffect) but I wish the demo gave us more.

Anyone try it?

Nailed my sentiments exactly. Graphically one of the most stunning games i've seen in a long time. Great animations (it's funny you mentioned the wet shirt because i actually said out loud how cool that was). The hand to hand animations are great as well as the collision detection in the game is pretty darn good.

I also found it odd regarding the number of hits it took to drop a bad guy. I'm wondering if distance is part of the reason as i spent a lot of time shooting them with the pistol from pretty far away.

The storyline has me very curious and i think what i saw from it was enough to make it a buy for me.

Downloaded both Drake and CH. Unfortunately the former won't install so it looks like I'll have to re-dl. CH struck me as unspectacular. Graphics are still pretty awful, and the way-too-close camera mode can't be changed in the demo. No really bad slowdown like last year's, but then again that only happened on certain courts, so I don't think there's any way to tell in the demo.

BTW, Macca I'm not sure if it's just me, but PES locks up when going to a match any time you are downloading in the background.

Blub,

Yeah, I get the same thing, I was trying to dl Drake while playing my ML in PES and it just froze. Yet another feather in Konami's cap.

Thanks Macca. Downloading the GT 5 Prologue demo now.

Drake's Fortune is very good. The only thing I don't like is the invisible walls that keep you on a set path in the jungle but it's still an outstanding demo.

For those who still have or play Motorstorm they released another track with events and cars. This time Sony did the right thing and lowered the price from $9.99 to $5.99 which is about right. I decided to get both and with the new update you now have 12 tracks as it appears the update includes 2 new tracks as well.

I tried both tracks and they are wicked fun and well done. If anyone still has this game let me know. :)

I bought Stardust HD last night. Very fun shooter and it looks great. I recommend it to all PS3 owners.

That's a great game, if you like this, get Everyday Shooter too. I think it is even better.

Funny you mention Everyday Shooter Will.

From now until 11.29 these titles are on sale in the PSN for $4.99:

Calling all Cars
Everyday Shooter
flOw
Pixeljunk Racers

I'm going to pick up Everyday Shooter as I already have Calling all Cars and flOw. I highly recommend CAC for $4.99.

It's $5 now. I picked it up yesterday and I can't believe I passed this one up before. This is a very cool little shooter with outstanding music. It's like a cross between Rez and Geometry Wars.

You where right Scoop.

Great shooter.

And for $5, it's a no-brainer.

Glad you guys like Everyday Shooter, I love this game. My high score is 3720. Getting better figuring out how to chain well in stage 3/4.

Not as crazy fun as I thought it would be, but it's not a bad $10 game... Humor is raunchy, and the gameplay is good. The ragdoll physics are good, but I wish the little guy you are throwing around would get cuts/bruises/etc from all the trouble you throw him into...
