So what are everyone's predication for the Indy v. NE game this weekend? I'm gonna say Brady and the pats tear it up in Indianapolis and beat the colts by at least 10 points if not more. That team is unstoppable.

I disagree. The Pats may be blowing people out, but the Colts have really hit their stride in the last four games, handily winning their games against tougher competition. I think the two teams are almost identically matched, with the Colts have a better running game due to Addai and the Pats having a slightly better defense. Belichick is the best coach in the league but Dungy is no slouch, and the Colts will have an absolutely ravenous Indy crowd supporting them. If Marvin Harrison plays, New England will have just as many coverage issues as the Colts will.

It's very, very hard to pick against the Pats, but I really think Indy is better prepared for this game because they have played a harder schedule, they have an offensive edge due to Addai, and they get home field. Colts 30, Pats 27.

I think whoever loses that game will win the Super Bowl.

Because I think it will be hard for either team to beat the other team twice in the same year, and the loser won't have all that added pressure that goes along with trying to go undefeated.

I disagree about Colts facing tougher competition.

Cowboys and Chargers are the 2 toughest team on BOTH team's schedule. And the Pats spanked them both.

I just hope Brady gets his knee blown out.

But they still cover. :)

I'll go on record right now as saying that the Patriots will not win the Super Bowl this year.

I don't think either team has a tough schedule, but the Colts opponents have a .547 record and the Pats have .414 record. The Cowboys are the toughest opponent either team has faced, but the Chargers in week 2 were very much like the Saints in week one, a team in disarray and very beatable.

It wouldn't surprise me if New England did win by a couple scores, they are an incredible team, but I think the Colts are playing just as well (nearly identical stats) and could have added a few extra meaningless scores on their opponents if they had wanted to. I also think the Pats might have trouble this week if they don't establish the running game, which they haven't really tried to do since Sammy Morris got hurt.

To have a chance to slow down the Pats, teams have to be able to get pressure just rushing 4 and dropping back 7, at least some of the time.

Colts have good DEs to do so but the Pats OL has been very good. Colts have been playing Sanders almost on the line to stop the run.

They have to be able to drop 7, including those LBs. Almost concede the run but Pats are too smart to fall for that.

Colts offense has been proficient as ever but Harrison has been injured and hasn't really been as productive. They would need big games from Addai, Wayne and Clark to keep up with the points.

That Pats script to slow down the Rams was clock control and then beating up those speedy WRs. Can any team run that script against the Pats themselves?

Interesting fact about The Big Game which I wondered about earlier this week:

• The latest meeting of undefeated teams in the 88-season history of the NFL.

Bring it on!

Take care,

Looks like Harrison is now "doubtful" for this weekend's game.

That's a big blow to the Colts

Belichick is going to run the ball in the first few drives to lull the Colts to sleep, then just pass pass and pass the rest of the way.

Holy cr*p! Cromartie's FG return for a TD was sensational! To be able to catch that ball, stay in bounds and then run it back 109 yards takes a lot of talent and that guy has it. 3 TD's in one and a half games:)

Colts front four are getting decent pressure -- when Light isn't tripping Freeney.

But they're dropping back everyone else so that draw to Maroney is there all day.

Colts have to stretch their coverage to account for Moss. Manning doesn't have the same luxury with Harrison not playing so they need someone other than Wayne and Clark to make plays.

Great play by Addai, poor tackling by Pats. Their age showing maybe?

It will be interesting to see how the Pats defense plays without a big lead.

But other than a big play like that one, Colts are working harder for their yards than the Pats.

Good comeback by the Pats. I really thought the Colts had their number, but Brady showed why he is the best QB in the league and one of the best in NFL history. He and Moss are an unstoppable combination, and Welker gives him an incredible second option. They are the most dominant, talented team the league has seen in a while, a real throwback to the pre-salary cap mega teams of the 70s and 80s.

Colts missed some chances when they're defense stopped the Pats int he second and third quarters.

They really needed Harrison out there, not Moorehead. Not to mention, apparently the LT was a backup.

I would say they might have a chance if Colts had to go to New England but Harrison's injury may be serious. ESPN said he might need surgery and even then, there's no guarantee the surgery will eliminate the pain he's feeling.

Colts had to make some great athletic interceptions but as well as they played, they couldn't stop Brady and company when they had to.

I don't think Pittsburgh will have as much success. They can't generate pass rush pressure without sending 2 or 3 blitzers. I think Brady actually does better against blitzes. Colts had some success because their front 4 could pressure Brady early in the game.

HOW 'BOUT THEM BROWNIES?!?!?!?!?!

WOW!

I didn't think they'd win five games all year, and here they are sitting at 5-3!!!! Folks around here are even starting to mention the "P" word. I'm stunned!

I know that if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle, but as the Bills have won three straight to climb to 4-4, all I can think of is, "If not for the last-second Denver win and the collapse on Monday night against Dallas, the Bills are 6-2."

I know. Aunt, balls, uncle -- the whole shebang. :)

They must be really happy in San Diego. With Marty gone, they don't have to worry about a disappointing playoff loss this year.

Seems like Browns know how to use Braylon Edwards (now obvious he should have been the top pick, not Alex "deer caught in headlights" Smith) and Winslow.

And besides Derek Anderson, Kellen Clemens, another unheralded pick from the Oregon schools, show promise.
