As far as I know flash and java are up to date on my computer, those interfaces work with no problems on other sites I have visited.

Below are some questions that I would like to ask you.....I had troubles for the first 10 days, but I got everything to work last week and it worked like a charm.

1. Did you create a sportsworld account before you got the game? Also, did you create an ea account in the game (the first time you tried to go online?)

2. When you create an account in the game, it will ask you to enter an email address and a password. That's the address and password that you need to use when logging onto sportsworld.

3. Are you using the email and password that you entered in the game?

I recommend you check out all of these questions and if you are still having problems, then contact EA directly through Tech Support and let them address it on their end. At the end of the day, Photo GameFace is a great feature, but it was NOT ready for prime time. I do know they are working on the login/Gamertag issue as well as increasing server capacity/bandwidth. The EA Sports web folks really dropped the ball on this feature and they are playing catch up.....
I already had an easportsworld account, used it previously with NCAA Football with no troubles. I am logged in to the site and make it the whole way through to the page that asks to upload a face and the button highlights when I roll the mouse over it but nothing happens when I click on it.

Still despite the troubles I'm having with their website the game is a lot of fun and I was finally able to get past the Carnoustie Challenge freeze yesterday after the patch.

vader...a shot in the dark but what internet address are you using for easportsworld? Make sure it is www.easportsworld.com

Some people were having trouble by leaving the www off but as soon as they went to www.easportsworld.com it worked for them.

I have one but I turned it off and it still didn't work. And the link I'm using is http://www.easportsworld.com

It's no big deal as I have myself in the game by using the xbox camera, I just wanted to upload a couple of celebrity pictures and see how they turned out.

One other thing for those that don't know.

There's a 4th round score bug. The money and points that are given for the FEDEX cup and season mode are based of the 3rd round even if you play 4 rounds. So you could be placed 5th and make a remarkable comeback in the 4th round but the standings and points will put you 5th because that's where you finished the 3rd round.

I still have yet to be able to access any of the online functions of Tiger 08. Everytime I try to login in the game I get a message that says "EA servers are not available at this time". I've been getting that message since day 1.

The sad thing is that I updated my old EA account and was able to upload Gameface pictures without a problem. Unfortunately it does me no good as I can't get online in the game. I've even tried creating a brand new account in-game with a new email address and password but no success there either. EA tech support has not been helpful at all as they keep coming back with comments telling me to check my gamer profile, Live connection and other nonsense that has never been a problem either now or in the past.

I've never once had a single problem with any other Xbox Live game. I'm not one to get all crazy about bugs or "broken" features in video games, but not being able to access the online portion of Tiger at all is an absolute joke and has me seriously reconsidering purchases of any future EA Sports games.

That's f'ing laughable. Thank God I play this game strictly 1 round online with a buddy of mine. Jeez, other than that this game would be turd. However, since we just do one and done...it's just fine.

First hand, I can post a screenie if you want. :D

Here's how you can test it. Go to career and play a tournament. Set it up for a 4 rounds. Sim rounds 1-3. You should qualify. Play round 4 and then check the money and points you got from that tournament.

The payout issue is on the list of items to address for the 2nd title update or patch.

Geez, the rubberband AI on some of the Tiger Challenges is ridiculous as well. This crap totally ruins the game for me. You can see the AI golfer go from best ever to worst ever and back again in the span of a single round of 21, depending on how you are doing.

Shouldn't this be what difficulty levels are for? Having the tournament scores and AI golfer's ability to be set around how hard you want to make the game for yourself? :(

Season mode is a huge disappointment for me. The payout bug is bad enough but the 'rubberband' AI thing is just ...crazy. That was obviously deliberate -- but why? Why do the devs feel we need our hand held like this? It makes me not even want to play in the tournaments because I know that the AI is 100% canned.

I guess this isn't the game's fault but it just does not do what I personally want it to do. I don't want to play Mike Weir in a thrilling game of Bingo Bango Bongo. I want to create my custom golfer, give him some attributes, and play a PGA Tour Season where my skills may go up or down depending on how I play and I want to do that the minute I fire up the game. Don't make me go through the monotonous Skills Training and some of the silly events in the Tiger Challenge. I just wanna play golf.

I love the added difficulty this year, (as frustrated as I am at times) I just don't like the design.

This game reminds me very much of Fight Night in that the controls and gameplay are outstanding, but the offline leaves much to be desired.

No, it wasn't deliberate. The AI is a leftover from TW06/07 for 360. Tiburon had less than a year with the code of this game and while improving the AI was on their list, there were other issues and improvements addressed this year. The Executive Producer has read the complaints about the AI and agrees with us that it needs fixing. I have a feeling that it will be improved for 09.

Agreed. Again, I think with a year under their belt, this TW team is shooting for a much more PGA TOUR-like experience moving forward. That is the feedback they are reading in the forums and that is also consistent with the feedback I am giving them. I think this development team is anxious to distance themselves as quickly as possible from some of the leftover TW features that just don't make sense in a PGA TOUR licensed game.

I am so happy I am able to add my own ugly mug to the game though...that's comforting. Oh wait, does that work yet? What the F did they do for the entire year? That stupid ass Gametracker thing where you can upload great shots or holes? Yipteef*cking doo. Jesus, I wish they'd start on the core engine before they add the fluff (that doesn't work right anyway, especially on release day).

Tiger 08 for the PC is a fugly mess. I can't believe they let that out the door. I went back to 07 and imported the 08 courses.

I am still playing Tiger06 for the PC. IMO, it was the best one.

I picked up the PC version of this for $9.99 at Best Buy and it's definitely worth that little scratch.

Anyone else with the PC version? Is putting WAY more sensitive with the gamepad this year? It's almost impossible not to roll the ball less than 25 every time. Please tell me there is a way to turn down the sensitivity???

Other than that, its as good as '06 and '07. Not better.....but as good.
