These Edge jerseys all suck!!!!!
Actually, I don't mind those. Not too far from the Sens' old third jerseys, right?

At least they don't have all the funky stripes of the Isles' new jerseys. The only new jerseys that I really dig are the Caps and the Bruins. The rest range from OK to sh*t.

the sens are ok..better than the black ones they wore...

i agree w/pk... bruins and caps are good....rest are eh....

interesting to see the rest of them...especially the teams with shitty ones now...like TB and atl...

I guess i just don't like how plain they look. No striping on the bottom (because the jerseys will be tucked in I guess)

The Sens just look too.... simple or something. I dunno.

I just hope they don't mess with the Oilers too much...... they are going to be revealed Sept. 17th I think.

If they even mess with the Hawks sweater I'll be pissed. Some of these are pretty cool though.

Out of curiosity, what RSS reader do you use? I was thinking of setting up a reader with my blogs.

I use the Sage add-on for Firefox. Bare bones and simple, but it does the job very well.

Hateful Irish prick.

I am looking forward to Wings camp here. The city really goes all out for the gents. Should be a lot of fun.

BUF-PIT will play one game outdoors as the Habs & Oilers did a few years back in EDM.

Could the new NHL jerseys get any worse? Yes -- just look at Tampa's new sweaters:

Christ, is the NHL becoming an off-Broadway production of "Godspell?"

That TB jersey is probably my least favorite of all the new ones so far.

A blogger's list of the top 50 players in the NHL. Discuss!

http://msn.foxsports.com/nhl/story/7158102

First impressions: Heatley is overrated at No. 10. A very talented one-way player. Couldn't backcheck to save his life. I'd take Alfie over Heatley, especially since Alfie finally showed up in the playoffs last season.

Dion Phaneuf is seriously underrated at No. 45, too. I think he's a fantastic player, a future Norris Trophy winner, and I HATE Calgary!

Take care,
PK

Rick DiPietro at number 37 and 5th highest goalie on the list? Really? (Correction, 7th highest goalie)

I would include J. Iginla in the top 10. He's tough, can score and it'll be interesting to see how he does this season under iron Mike. Despite his age, I would move Burnaby Joe Sakic a few places up, this guy has been COL's MVP the past two seasons.

W. Redden did not impressed me at all during the playoffs although they say he played hurt, but don't they all at that time of the year? And P. Forsberg, how could he not crank up the top 50? Even with his foot problems he should be in that list.

Alert the police in Sweden: Belfour apparently has signed with a team in the Swedish Elite League.

So that ends the storied NHL career of Eddie the Eagle. Excellent goalie, but a rather large dick.

So, does Belfour have Hall of Fame credentials? Good numbers, longevity, a ring.

Pretty sad that the Leafs have only one player to crack the list and it's pretty much their only shoe-in of the last long while: Tomas Kaberle. This team is going to be a real "treat" to watch this year. Ugh.

I think the Eagle is HOF material PK. His numbers are there, he had outstanding season for DAL & TOR, yes he's a bit of a dick head but he's been a solid keeper for a number of years except in FLO.

The Maple Laughs have updated their keeper position but with that soft D, they'll need more help than what they got in the off-season. No one will feel sorry for them in Canada though. :)

How can you tell we're all puck heads in Canada? How about a sold out GM place for tomorrow's unveiling on the new uni. Hope, they don't dissappoint...
