Just wanted to chime in that the Eets game is pretty cool too, sort of a puzzle game along the lines of Lemmings. My daughter and I have fun trying to figure the best way to complete each puzzle.
Has the Spring Update been released yet? Can anyone confirm?
According to Microsoft's Major Nelson at 8:30 PM PST Monday:
I just heard from the Dashboard team that we'll have to wait at least another day for the Dashboard update to be released. The update is not being released in the next 24-hours. That is all I know at this time, but I’ll get more information tomorrow afternoon (PT) and I will update this post as needed. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I check here a few times a day to see if there is anything new, so if I see any updated info, I will post back. My guess is Wednesday - barring any major issues.
Unfortunately, nothing I care about is going to be updated - VGA support for some of the 16:10 monitor resolutions, the ability to FF on the audio player, etc. But it will still be interesting to see the new stuff.
Major Nelson has a post about Crackdown content on the way, both free and pay, plus a title update. Crackdown was the surprised hit of the year for me and the content looks great.
Best part is if a buddy buys it and you play co-op with him you can use it.

Full version of Aegis Wing is available for free download in the arcade, fun little side scrolling space shooter. It also supports multiplayer up to 4 people online and offline.

Lots of FPS issues I am seeing on that one. Either it's running somewhere around 30 FPS for the demo or it's not as polished as other games.
However I wish the Demo was longer.

It’ll have a Super Stage crossover rally with Colin as your opponent, it’s got buggy racing against 9 opponents which is absolute carnage and really shows off the car models, and then we have a hill climb with fantastic scenery and a Travis Pastrana time to beat.

Wasn't DiRT not supposed to have online racing? I thought time trials was the only online mode.
This should be fun!

Holy cow, there is a TON of Ubi-related stuff on Gametrailers.com. The new SC (no versus stuff, surely), that new strategy-type game, some Brothers in Arms stuff, some Blazing Angels II stuff, etc. A feast!
Mad Tracks went up on Live Arcade today. I dl'd the free version and might purchase the full game. It looks like it could be a lot of fun, kind of a mario cart style of game. I think my wife and son might really enjoy it too.
Anyone get the full version of "Boom Boom Rocket"?
The demo is so addicting, but nobaody here is talking about
it. In the latest OXM, they rate it right up there with the
best of all the arcade games.

I bought it. My quick review:
The good - it looks really slick & plays great - good acheivements.
Bad - The song in the demo is awesome. Every other song in the full version annoyned the living hell out of me after 2 listens. I actually tried it with the sound off. BUT if you like the william tell overature (sp) with a bad techno beat, you'll be in heaven.
Mad Tracks is out, and...it's a helluva lotta fun. My 7 year old and I had a ball this afternoon. Lots and lots of minigames, great arcade racing.
Kinda like a cross between Re:Volt and Super Monkey Ball. All modes are online as well, and could be hilarious with a few friends who may or may not have a few in 'em...highly recommended...
A Players Pack:black was release for RSV, but itgot pulled. Below info on it from Major Nelson's site.

Really looking forward to playing Carcassonne on Live. Tried to get the family into it a couple of times, but they'd rather play Parker Brothers games instead.

It's pretty kick ass. These boardgames on the arcade are a great value. Cheaper than grabbing the real games, actually!
