I do agree with the review that the cars feel to have too little weight to them

Just played the demo a bit more now that I am getting used to my steering wheel and Forza and DiRT is still much more difficult for me to adapt to with the wheel. I can't seem to get even close to the target time in the first race and the buggies are a complete disaster for me with the wheel.

What, 5 pages about a game that hasn't even come out yet isn't enough interest for you?
Thought people would have went nuts over the release date getting moved up a week.
Good call buddy. About as good as joining a fantasy baseball league and not paying the paltry 10 dollar entry fee.

You guys are unbelievable!

Instead of just leaving the DIRT impressions thread alone, you post 2 additional posts ad then lock it. Why not just say what you have to say and then let it go? I understand we don't want a dozen posts without any "real impressions", but I JUST STARTED THE THREAD so it would be ready as soon as people had some real impressions. So now, we have 3 wasted posts instead of 1, and a whole wasted thread.....makes a lot of sense. :?

You guys are really sapping the fun out of this place.

Well, if you'd pay attention to the board, you'd realize that the mistake was already made a few weeks back with the Forza thread three days before the game came out. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it all out. Sorry it's not more FUN for you. I know that we're all here to appease Jack.

The thing is, that's a "convenience" that no one needs, and only leads to people clicking the thread looking for a first impression and finding zero content whatsoever. That's all. So Scoop's decision might technically be a waste of space, but it's a saver of time for the multitudes.

Jack,

Scoop was right to lock that thread...it's much better to save impressions threads for when there are actually impressions from someone that has the game. This thread will do just fine for other stuff (preview information, demo opinions, etc.). It's not meant to sap the fun out of the place, but just to keep some semblance of organization.

DB,

If you have some problem with Xlax re: payment for a fantasy league, you can let him know all about it....in PMs. Leave it out of these threads.

I've tried...he just ignores them. So it's necessary to call him out like the cheap f*ck that he is. But you're right...the whole forum probably already knows that, and to stay away from him when money could be involved.
