I was involved with Ultimate Baseball since its Alpha phase, and it is a really unique experience. The user base is still relatively low, so the posers and asshats are out in full force, but I have played a few good games. Hitting is a chore, and fielding/pitching (depending on your position is a lot of fun).

I think it is still free to try out, best times to play are on the weekend until more users get involved.

Netamin really sunk a lot of money into this and to this day I do not know if they have turned a profit yet.

I tried to play this once and that is about all it took to turn me off of UBO. The graphics were terrible compared to most anything offered on the consoles and the hitting + fielding were really bad i thought. It's an awesome idea though.
