Germain struck first to take an early lead, but Livorno took control for the remainder of the match, led by Lucarelli's four goal performance.

Yellow: Rozenhal, Kalou
Red: Yepes

Rob, I entered Diane's goal into the league interface, but I forgot who scored the other goal (the dearth of end-game stats sucks in this game). I can't remember who scored for me beyond Lucarelli and Bakayoko, either.
Sorry for getting a bit chippy near the end there. I lack the ability to adequately express my frustration at this game right now, though. You other goal was by that Cesar guy. It was Diane who scored the second, Pauleta opened the scoring with that bizarre couldn't-knock-him-off-the-ball score.

Great game, btw. Wish I could've put up more of a fight, but inasmuch as my last two competitive games online have seen me give up a combined 12 goals, the likelihood of that happening for a long while are slim :)

Thanks for filling in the gaps, Rob. And you weren't that chippy. I remember when you beat me 7-0 in our first ever league meeting... I swear I was ready to strangle a puppy after that match. And someday the tables will turn again, I'm sure.

I know I mentioned it to you on Friday night Zep but I just wanted to clarify with a post that I need an extension. I was unable to hook up with Terry and Skyboxer thanks to my work schedule the past week. I still have a bad work schedule this week but I'll do my best to hook up with them. If anybody needs to be given a forfeit, give it to me since it's been my fault the games haven't been played.

No problem. Just try to get them all done by the full-season deadline in two weeks.

I've assigned forfeits to Juventus for the first half games. That's the only team that has yet to play a single game, and we haven't heard from snate in this thread for more than a week.

Even though the forfeits are on the books now, the first half games can still be played, and the scores updated, but for now they will appear as 3-0 losses for Juve. It's up to snate whether he wants to play the first half games, or just play the 2nd half games and get ready for next season.

EDIT:
The roll is a 3, so Ronaldinho misses no games.

I originally wrote one game here, but that's not right for a yellow cross injury. 1-3 is no games, 4-6 is one game. With a red cross 1 and 2 is one game, 3 and 4 is two games, and 5 and 6 is three games. Oops!

I need a roll on Fowler then. He had a yellow cross in my game against dean. I'm pretty sure I benched him in favor of Crouch during my match with Macca though. Either way I didn't know the deal with yellow cross injuries and don't want to cheat.

I almost missed this one, Scoop. The roll was a 6. If it was a yellow cross, he misses one game; if it was a red cross injury, he misses the next 3 games! Ouch!
I did it on Sunday, and since you've already kept him out of the one game, he's good to go now.

AS Livorno 1 : 1 AS Monaco FC

In a tight battle of DSPremiership clubs no one could find much of an advantage throughout the match. Bakayoko put the home side ahead in the 50th minute when he carved out some space with some fancy-schmancy dribbling in the box, and cutting back across near the penalty spot, blasted a rocket that went through the hands of Roma, which he had instinctively raised to protect his face. The Monagasque goal keeper was the Man of the Match for the visitors, however, as he made several key saves throughout the game to keep his side in the contest.

In the late going, big man Jan Koller got on the end of a delicately placed cross from Meriem to complete a nice counter attacking move and bring the teams level. I neglected to write down the stats, but according to Slumberland it was the only shot on target for Monaco, and Lurch made it count by rising high above his marker and powering the header. This one also went through the hands of the keeper, and to be fair he really had no chance since Koller had all his impressive bulk behind the header and struck it from about 7 yards away from goal.

Morrone picked up a yellow card for Livorno.

Division 4 Kicks Off The Second Half

Post by Macca00 »

AS Roma 0 West Ham 6

2' Tevez
11' Tevez
14' Tevez
43' Ashton
58' Tevez (PEN)
65' Zamora (PEN)

Yellow Cards --> Ashton (WHU)
Red Cards --> Mexes (ASR)

Injuries --> Tevez (yes, TEVEZ!!!!) --> Yellow Cross Injury

8(2) Shots 15(9)
5(0) Fouls 5(1)
46% Poss. 54%

Carlos Tevez picked up 4 goals (including a hatrick in the first 14 minutes) but was eventually limped off with an injury following a foul by Phillipe Mexes that sparked a mass brawl between the two teams. Mexes, for his trouble, was red carded and though Tevez was able to convert the penalty he was unable to continue.

Doni had a nightmare in goal for Roma with two of the Tevez goals slipping through his fingers. At the other end Totti worked tirelessly and could have sparked a mini-revival had his 25 yard rocket not skimmed the post early in the second half.

Dean Ashton and Bobby Zamora also scored for the Hammers.

West Ham and their fans anxiously await to find the results of an MRI on Tevez' knee to see how long he will be missing..........

Good game SkyBoxer! Unlucky - Doni was totally the weak-link, I got up early with some s*** goals and then you were chasing the match. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Zepp, roll that dice and lemme know about Tevez.

Livorno 1 Blackburn 0

Didn't get the stats. I do remember that Ooijer scthyed Babayaro outside the box and got a red card.

Blackburn 3 Monaco 1

Blackburn notched their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Monaco. The first half was a cagey affair, with Blackburn keeping the ball on the ground and Monaco relying on the aerial game. Blackburn scored first as Benni McCarthy accelerated past a Monaco defender and placed the ball into the far corner of the net. Monaco responded shortly thereafter in the 68th minute, as Koller headed a Leko cross into the net. Blackburn then took the game in the final 15 minutes. First, Jeffers scored on an excellent give-and-go with McCarthy, and then Jeffers iced the game scoring from point blank range after a pass across the box from Emerton.

Goals:
McCarthy 50'
Koller (Leko) 68'
Jeffers (McCarthy) 79'
Jeffers (Emerton) 90+'

Yellow cards:
Jeffers
