Just an FYI...OS forums are saying that the demo is being released at 2am tonight. Someone got it from a 2KSports administrator. I don't know if that is PST...EST or even if its legit. Take it for what its worth. Yes, I am bored and have been surfing the net tonight

Demo is coming. 2am tonight I think. But if you stay up and it's not there...don't flame me. I could have the date wrong. I know for a fact it will be up sometime early this week. Sometime, these things just hit there own speedbumps...MS has the QA it, MS has to get it in theor queue to get it up, the dev team has HOW MANY versions of this game to get out? etc. etc. etc. A 360 demo is not going to take priority over making sure the PS3 version ships on time....you get the picture.

Suffice it to say, it's coming.

I hate these types of threads, but over on the 2k boards the forum admin has stated that there will be a demo tonight at 2am...he followed that up with " if its not there dont flame him, but it should be there tonight at 2 am...I didnt really want to start a thread about this, but I was afraid it would get lost in the other threads. Please dont be upset with me if it's not there, I am just passing along what I heard straight from th 2k forum admin.

I might have to get up early.

Although we have been through this before.

anyone confirm this?

i am hoping stores get this today but i'm not banking on it until tomorrow, but it would be cool to get used to the controls on the demo tonight.

Looks like it's a 3 inning demo between the mets and cardinals at Shea. Game starts in the top of the 7th.

time to gold up for a month i guess, i'm a silver member too. I figure it cool for at least one roster update too

golds always get demos 1st

Yeah. With silver, you have to wait a week to download new demos and content.

I know with NHL 2k, rosters were fine with a silver account.

If this game doesn't come in today (don't think it will), I guess I'll get a month of the gold membership.

Dowloading it now, but SLUGGGGGIIIIISSSSHHHHHH. About an hour and only at 21%. Gotta be back at work by 2:30 so not optimistic i'll have any time to play.

Reactions to the demo at OS seem to be pretty favorable. Biggest problem seems to be the fielding, which was what I was expecting.

Can't wait to see it in person myself.

I played a few games this morning. As a guy who hasn't played the series since 2k4, there is a lot for me to learn. There are a lot of features to this game. Most seem pretty well done. The demo puts you in to the Mets/Cardinals Game 7 just after Endy's catch. So it is 1-1 in the top of the 7th. I was very engrossed in the game. I am looking forward to playing more. The fielding is a little tough to read but it seems manageable. The whole game has a bit of a distanced feel. Kind of like you are watching rather than playing. I had Beltran a bit off the circle on flyball and he dropped it. I thought that was cool as every video game I have ever played you just needed to be close. The hitting and pitching mechanics were a bit tough on me. I has trouble figuring out when to make the second press on pitching and figuring out whether I was early or late. With hitting the timing of the step and release is quick. Do you guys ever use the directional swings. Seems like you don't have the time. The graphics are amazing. Can't wait to get some more in later.

I only download stuff here and there, should i wait out the string or is there any historical proof that cancelling this one and starting over would speed things up?

My first few attempts at downloading the crackdown demo were abysmally slow. I cancelled twice, and the third one went much, much faster.
