They said is visually stunning and an overall good baseball game. Negatives were sound (mainly Miller and Morgan) and a few other small things. 8.5 is very solid IMO.
Was the review for the 360, PS3 or both? I personally don't mind those two guys but I doubt anything comes better than the commentary on Sony's MLB.
Rumors flying on the net about the early release...Anyone know how many game seasons you can have?
Well after not giving a sh*t about this game for months...now that we are getting closer to release, I have a muted excitement for it. I'd love to be able to return my PS2...but I'm still not counting on it.
Releasing the baseball games in February seems mightly early, doesn't it? I guess this is just the way with sports games these days, accurate rosters be damned, huh? Got to get them out in time for the players to play them while in Spring training or training camp, right? I hope they release updated rosters early and often, with updated ratings, too. But then I am always hoping for that, and they never seem to come through no matter who 'they' is.
I hope 2K doesn't suck, but I'm going to wait and see. With it being out so early, I have a feeling I can hold off and wait for some good impressions, especially of online play. Fluttering jerseys and elephantitis of the ankles is all well and good as long as there's decent baseball underenath. What's up with the fielding camera, are there any other choices than that claustrophobia inducing, can't bend my neck to look up camera?

Actually, the Show last year was awesome. They updated the rosters every few weeks (maybe even more often than that) so you always had updated stuff in your exhibition games (even on the PSP).

I think at one point, there was a roster update almost weekly, wasn't there?
I hope online play in either of these 2 games is good. I don't think there has been a baseball game on a console that has yet to perfect online play. MLB The show came close last year, but you still had to deal with lag throughout the game.

all the latest games have done is really make me miss high heat.
how long we going to have to say that?
HH is pretty much dead. Once MS bought the code for it, if they intended to do anything with it, it would have been the first or 2nd year. Now we're into year 4 and nothing is being done with it.
