I'm definitely in for the 360 version. Not sure about how side selection process goes, but Lyon would be fine again for me.

All league members, especially new ones, should make sure to read over the first post in this thread, where League Game settings and general League rules and procedures are listed and explained. Also included is a link to Jason's SGN League Site, where new members must start an account in order to post game reports into the league module.

Sorry for the quick off-topic post... but anyone having trouble with WE9 (xbox)?

Fifa and I have had it lock up about 5 of the last 20 games we've played. Each time it happened it was after a goal was scored and at the resulting kick off we simply could not kick off. You could go to the friend menu and still talk for about 5 seconds after the little timer counts down, but then it would disconnect and we would each get the "you win by forfeit" message.

Anyone seen this? It seemed to have started happening right after the new came out.... hmmm .... coincidence?

The first-half season schedule will be posted at the SGN League site on Monday AM at the latest. Once that schedule is posted, we are free to begin games.

Folks:

The first-half schedule for Season Eight has been posted at the SGN League site, and we are free to begin play in this first season on the 360!

The deadline for the first half of Season Eight is Sunday, March 4. Please get your first half games played by then. Extensions will be liberally granted but must be requested.

Make sure to use the appropriate game settings for season games. The game settings are listed below the roster of participants in the first post of this thread. The 'season' setting for the Eighth Season will be WINTER. Weather, as always, must be set to 'random.'

Make sure that pause time, labeled 'time limit,' must be long, and number of pauses must be the maximum (9). Games should be played at the appropriate stadium, and condition must be 'random' and injuries set to on.

Teams that do not have their real stadium in the game are listed in the above list of divisions with 'Pick 'Em' after their name. Please decide on a home stadium soon and let me know either in this thread or via PM.

Please post match reports here in this thread as well as inputting the result into the SGN module. Reports here do not have to be extensive, but must include goal scorers, any players booked, and injuries. Many also like to include the final stats as they are listed in the game. Die rolls on injuries will be done as soon as I know about them.

Remember that you must click the 'Manage Team' link on your team's page in order to add players to the roster and update game results. The first post of this long thread should explain everything you need to know about the league, but if you have any questions about using the SGN League module or other issues, feel free to ask in this thread or send me a PM.

Many players schedule games in this thread or use PMs to set up game times. Many also like to use AIM to get in touch, and this approach is highly suggested. Remember that each half season is given a window of two weeks. Once the deadline for the first half of Season Eight has been reached, the second-half schedule will be posted. Forfeits may be assigned after the first-half deadline, especially to those teams that have not played any games by then.

PS: I've decided Teatro Blanco must be Old Trafford (why they changed that name, I don't know, and why they don't have it called Old Trafford, I don't know, because Man U is now fully licensed). Anyway, this means Man U will play home games at Old Trafford (Teatro Blanco). Someone who knows the English grounds better can please steer me right about this, either confirm my suspicion or illuminate me. Also, could Antlion Colosseum be El Monumental, River Plate's stadium? I wouldn't have a clue. . . .

Can you see an 'Add Player' link on your team's page? On their schedule page, can you see little icons on the right, particularly a little arrow? If so, you are all set, and Jason must have set your permissions already. If not, let me know and we'll get it sorted out.

Yeah, I'm logged in. I even created a new login over there to match my XBL gamertag instead of using my old one (I tried it, too).

There is a good chance I'm missing something completely obvious.

Anyone in my division available tonight or tomorrow around 10 EST? I'm trying to schedule a match for the cup and I'd like to play at least one league match on the same night.

Jason has informed me that you should have all permissions to control your team, including 'add player' and updating game results. Hitting the 'manage team' link is not necessary (something to do with teams that have already been in the league).

Let me know if you are still having problems.

Zep...I know I have been out of touch this past week, but i would really like to be in this league if at all possible. I will play all my games as soon as I can. I think this coming weekend I will be back home for sure and could start playing this Thurs-Sat.

Ok Zep I have an issue. Jason has my team assigned to my old account Danimal. Every password I normally use won't log me into that account and apparently the retrieve password link on that site doesn't work.

I also can't seem to contact him.

So, I'm suitably convinced that Antlon Colosseun is indeed meant to be Estadio Monumental Antonio V. Liberti, River Plate's home stadium in Buenos Aires. However I am equally convinced that Teatro Blanci is not Old Trafford, and I can't seem to figure out what it is. Suggestions are welcome.
