Some things I don't like about itfanatic wrote:Is everyone still enjoying this game?
I fired up the demo today and absolutely loved the camera angle. Better than anything I've been using in NBA2k7 by far.
Is the fun factor still holding up?
- waiting for animations to finish and lack of really crisp control of your players
- for the life of me I can't get the settings right to get offensive charges called
- lack of midrange shots by the CPU despite turning that up all the way
- injured players - perhaps I just don't know where to bench an injured player but one of my starters had a 2-game injury and he kept getting in the game
It has a great atmosphere and is pretty fun. Just like the CPU doing almost exclusively close range and shots near the arc, I spend most of my time there. Midrange defense is too much like glue.
I wouldn't say it's the best basketball title I've played but it is a solid effort.[/list]
Thanks for the feedback...The atmosphere is indeed fun. I had a good laugh when I realized I could control the pre-game layup drills.F308GTB wrote:Some things I don't like about itfanatic wrote:Is everyone still enjoying this game?

It doesn't matter what you do about the charging calls. It's almost impossible for a human player to take a charge by pressing the take charge button - it takes too long for the animation to kick in. In one game against the CPU, I was able to take 2 charges, just by using the right stick to slide towards the ballhandler while he was isomotioning towards the basket.F308GTB wrote:Some things I don't like about itfanatic wrote:Is everyone still enjoying this game?
