Gotta love a two hour drive for seasons. But being able to get in my car in the winter without having to defrost the damn thing...makes it worthwhile.
Exactly. Want to ski, I head up to my place in Mammoth or head to Big Bear. Desert is close by. We have everything.
I surfed this morning, and played a round of golf on Friday. If the wind stays down and I get up early enough tomorrow, may take the Jet Ski's out. Can't beat that.

I'll take the four seasons, snow, skiing, boating, superb hunting and fishing, etc., all right out my back door. Added bonus: No earthquakes, forest fires, drive-bys, car alarms, traffic or freeway chases.

Seriously.
Take care,

Yeah, been through that in Colorado. Plus visiting the in-laws who are in North Dakota. Their cold factor is as rough as anyone's. I enjoy it for short periods of time. But I really do miss being able to wear shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops. And not being able to play golf or basketball outside for 4 months really wears on me.
The good news, is while in Colorado, I did get 30+ ski days a year.
Rained all day here yesterday, with a high around 44. Just about as close to a white christmas as Phoenix will ever get..although it did snow here once on Christmas.
