Top 5 XBox 360 Arcade Games

Thought this warranted it's own thread....

What are your top 5 Arcade Tittles?

Mine are:

1) Lumines Live
2) Doom
3) Galaga
4) Contra
5) Marble Blast

Another great use of arcade titles or even demos, is when little one's drop by, you have games for them to play at the ready.

I don't have any at the moment, but I intend to get Robotron and Geometry Wars. Street Fighter II is an outside possibility.

I confess, XBL Arcade doesn't do as much for me as it seems to for some others. That said, I'm glad to have all three of the above.

me too.

wish they would add Missle Command, Space Invaders and Asteroids.
If I had every quarter I wasted on those 3 games combined growing up, I would be a very rich man today

I just got Geometry Wars and that immediately shot to the top of my list!
What a blast that game is! Like Asteriods on crack. Where was I when this game was in the arcades? I don't remember it at all?

Anyway....just past you up Sport with a score of 50 something thousand!
It sure gets crazy in a hurry in that game. Very challenging.

Geometry Wars is not an old arcade game, but rather something recently developed for XBLA.

yea - I just found out it was a mini game in PGR.
I can't stop playing it!!! If you dont get a lot with your first guy,
it's very tough to score high.

Jack, a spruced up Missile Command is coming in January. Looks very cool.

I saw that. I'm not sure how it will translate to the 360 controller though.
Part of the charm of that game was the spinning ball control. They should design an "old school" 360 controller for some of these throwback games.
