I'm wondering this myself. I wouldn't be interested in this game if online is unplayable. Also, do you see edited roster names online?

I read at another site that names do show up online but I have not tried it myself.

Nevada is actually a top 25 team so while a #1 seed is prolly a stretch, they're a darn good squad.

In my 2 default All American games, I played as the Bucks against UAB (dunno why I picked them). First game, I lost by 16. Ack. I then went in and re-read the controls and set some plays for game 2 (the default plays still suck) and won 77-55. I held UAB to 33% shooting. ODEN!!! heh

Two games isn't enough IMO to start looking to change sliders. I did see the UAB center shoot 4 shots that hit the side of the backboard and my SG came around on a screen in the corner and three times caught the ball out of bounds. Kinda weird. I still don't like the ISO stuff, but it is what it is.

The two game initial "fun" impression is very high, though.

I didn't know that Nevada was top 20. And I think I read somewhere that Virginia has at least one highly rated recruit, so maybe that came into play.

Unfortunately, I still see early round matchups between conference teams and I read and interview where the 2K person said that programming around that was "not insignificant". But it still bothers me when I get to the tournament only to have to play a conference opponent in the first round.

Just picked this up along with R6. I'll jump online after the Liverpool match today and check the online play...even randoms if I have to :)

I sprung for the $10 for the UEFA feed online.

I just didn't feel like watching the Asian broadcast today LOL

Only US televised game today is Barca v. Levski this afternoon on ESPN Classic. They're showing the Chelsea game on delay at some godforsaken time as well.

I played a few games this afternoon. Fun game! The only problems that I saw was a collision detection issue where Aaron Gray dunked through the back of the backboard and one weird instance for about 5 seconds where Levon Kendall was shirtless...LOL. Those two things weren't really a problem and the gameplay seems great based on first impressions.

Holy crap. They have added a lot of animations around the basket. There are a bunch of new layup motion captures that make the game a lot better than the NBA version. They jump out from under the basket, lay the ball off the backboard when they need to and it just seems to play better in the post. It's pretty damn sweet.

Sounds good. I tried to get this yesterday but the damn Guy at EB couldn't find his last copy :x I checked a few other places and couldn't find it. I'll try and grab it on Sat....I sure as hell am not going within a 5 mile radius of the mall tomorrow.

Is there anyway to get the rosters on w/o having to buy a memory card and a transfer kit?

I usually beg a friendly DSPer to buy a mem. card for me and mail it to me, and let me reimburse through PayPal or send him a check or something.

In fact. . . I'm pretty sure I will get this game soon, or at least gamefly it; I have a mem. card I could send out to a kind someone early next week to get the roster file. Anyone willing to hook a Mac guy up?

I'm getting enough Best Buy gift cards to finally get me an Xchange kit and a memory card.

FYI, if you don't have this game yet, you can save $20 at buy.com if you use google checkout. I got the game for $36 but upgraded to the 2 day shipping, ended up $40. I had no plans to buy this game but for that price, it was a no brainer. On my way out to grab Rainbow 6.

The OS Roster set seems pretty good. I haven't checked it over thoroughly, but the Zags look pretty good.

I'm surprised at how good of a job 2K Sports did with Matt Bouldin considering he's a freshman. From a cosmetic standpoint they pretty much nailed him.

Hey it's a party! I went this route too. Got to love 2nd day shipping and STILL saving $20 over the retail price.

Essentially, you create an account with Google checkout, and then various retailers accept this for payment. So, you have a CC#, shipping info, etc. on the Google checkout acct, and don't have to fill out any CC info or shipping info on the retailer's website. It's sort of a streamlined payment option that works for a variety of online retailers, a list that should likely grow. In return, Google will put special icons near search results that are retailers who are part of the program, and I guess push those retailers one way or another over at Google.

From what I've read, the presentation just might be better than NFL 2k5 was.

Zep, let me know if you're interested in me sending my memory card your way. I know we did it in the past with a WE option file.

I would say hands down this game has the best presentation, best atmosphere of any sports game i've ever played. I am really liking it so far, best sports game by far, i've ever played.
