Whoa! The Wolverines almost gave one away-that would've been bad. I'm looking very much forward to the 18th, but Michigan better not again...it almost cost 'em...

Even though I love Michigan, I took Ball State at +34 in my weekly pool, so I'm happy. A Michigan victory without covering -- perfect.
Take care,

Well it opens the door for USC again. Run the table meaning beating Cal and Notre Dame and they could be right up there, to play the winner of OSU and Michigan.
I think Rutgers could have competed -- competed, maybe not won -- with any team in the nation last night. I don't care what conference you play in: When you hold the nation's No. 1 offense to seven consecutive punts in the second half, you have a special defense.
That was pure balls by Rutgers, on both sides of the ball. I think Herbie summed it up well on "SportsCenter" when he said regardless of the outcome of the Ohio St.-Michigan game, the Rutgers' victory over Louisville was the leading contender for his college football story of the year.
Damn, that was fun to watch. Nice to see such meaningful joy from a team and its supporters that never previously drank from that cup.
Take care,

Well said PK.
Had to love watching the fans run back off the field when they prematurely had started their celebration. They got off just as fast as they had gotten on!

Absolutely. The overhead shot of those kids scattering back to the sidelines was nuts, as if they ran on the field and discovered anthrax sprinkled all over the turf!

There were NJ State Troopers on the field! You don't wanna mess with those guys!
Seriously, I love that the fans got off so quick. They must have announced 'free pitchers on the sidelines' over the PA.
I woke up the house last night cheering for my alma mater.
I remember the N.J. State Troopers from when I worked for NHRA and we had an annual race at Englishtown!
Those guys were like stormtroopers with their tall, black boots and odd-shaped hats. The most menacing state law enforcement officers I've seen in the U.S., and I've traveled and worked in a a hell of a lot of states in our great land ...

One of the all time great crowd shots in sports history, perfectly captured last night.
Of course, if that had been at Miami, they would have returned fire before retreating
I was pretty shocked that Rutgers didn't squib the kickoff. Lousiville came pretty close to breaking that final return, and if the fans had triggered a 15-yard penalty, the Cardinals would have been within endzone-heaving distance.
How about Rutger's coach getting dinged in the head with the Gatorade container? "Coach, you just won the biggest game in school history, what are you going to do now?"

"Go to the emergency room with a concussion!"
You know, the team hasn't had a lot of opportunity to practice this particular tradition. Maybe Schiano can have them run drills in the event they decide to surprise him again.
Seriously, though, it was like someone sucker-punched him in the back of the head
Georgia has lot to Kentucky and Vandy this year.. there is still alot of Football left but damn. This is not what I expected. Battle is having a career day.... maybe Matt is glad he came to Georgia afterall..

Go Dawgs.
Hey, Stafford has thrown the ball with more authority today, than I have seen him all year. You can see the skillset is there. He's going to be an OUTSTANDING QB in the future.
