This USC team is talented, but inexperienced. But beyond that, they do not have that fire, that will to win, the previous teams did.wco81 wrote:OSU tried so hard to blow it. Kicker misses a kick to put away the game, punter fumbles the ball to give USC an easy scoring opportunity and then fails to pin USC back.
Well USC should get back on track vs. Stanford. Oregon, Cal and ND won't sneak up on SC, which will still likely play in a BCS bowl. Considering all the talent which left to go to the NFL, that's still pretty damn good.

You could be a Georgia fan and just watched your team lose to their most hated rival for the 15th time in 17 years.dbdynsty25 wrote:That's not worse, that's better. At least they have a college hoops season to look forward to.bkrich83 wrote:Could be worse. Thanks, Coker!!!

Big difference, I didn't cry about my team not getting enough respect, only to lose the very next week.
But if it makes you feel better, go for it. As an Auburn fan I guess you have to cling to what you can.

I was flipping back and forth between commercials of UGA losing to Florida for the15th time in 17 years to USC... USC was down 20+ late and I told my fiance they would still win.. and they almost did.XXXIV wrote:I did believe USC would go undefeated....
After 10 weeks or so, I still hate the new clock rules....
Insant replay still has no place in college football.
Makes me feel like a million, thanks...having to put up with USC fans who think their team's $h!t doesn't stink...well, welcome to the reality of the situation...what was that about overrated???bkrich83 wrote:tealboy03 wrote:...........turnabout may or may not be fair play...but it's sure alot of fun...

USC fans haven't had to 'cry' about anything. They've had an undeserved silver spoon in their mouths the whole season courtesy of the sports media slobbering all over them. I guess that's shot...

Who said USC wasn't overrated. I said they were overated from the jump. I figured 9-3 would be as good as they could hope for. It wasn't USC fan who came in here, created a whole new thread about how they lacked respect, and other teams weren't deserving of their rankings, only to lose the next week.tealboy03 wrote:Makes me feel like a million, thanks...having to put up with USC fans who think their team's $h!t doesn't stink...well, welcome to the reality of the situation...what was that about overrated???bkrich83 wrote:tealboy03 wrote:...........turnabout may or may not be fair play...but it's sure alot of fun...

But I'll just let you stew in your jealousy of USC, since between your posts here and the other thread you obviously have a huge helping of. It's got to be tough to be a fan of a team, that wants so desperately to be a national power, yet never gets it done.

Anybody wonders if he feels this post earned Auburn a national championship? Because I have an inkling he thought so.

I hate the new clock rules with a passion, but wasn't too fond of the old rules either. Why can't they just mimic the NFL rules, which are just about perfect IMO? Eliminating the clock stopping for first downs seems like something logical they could substitute for starting the clock on the change of possessions.
At least the college replay rules are much better than the NFL. There's nothing more boring in sports than to bring a game to a halt to see the ref go under the hood to verify that the receiver did have *five* feet in bounds while making the catch.
Your 'inkling' is broken...I don't even know what in the world you're talking about. It did earn Auburn fans a break from elitist USC fans, though, whether they ever admit it or not. In this part of the world, where there aren't any yellow brick roads, USC has been the one overrated this whole time, squeaking by inferior teams time and again. Just glad to see them not pulling yet another come from behind out of their butts for once.Programmed2Kill wrote:tealboy03 wrote:Makes me feel like a million, thanks...having to put up with USC fans who think their team's $h!t doesn't stink...well, welcome to the reality of the situation...what was that about overrated???bkrich83 wrote:
