Contact AFTER a ball has been tipped is not interference. Contact prior to the tip is still interference.
I suppose that an interesting argument could be made that the ball wasn't catchable due to the tip. But again, this would presuppose that the contact was after the status of the pass changed to un-catchable, and any prior contact would still be interference.
Bad call.
Similarly bad call on the onside kick in the Oregon - OU game. Clearly touched before 10 yards.

I wonder if we will see an influx of new coaches after this year or just a bunch of coach movement?? In the ACC, it looks like Miami and NC State are pretty likely to make a move. Duke will probably go 0-11 and will make a move. Virginia and UNC may decide to go in another direction. If Clemson doesn't keep winning they will want to make a change. And maybe Bobby Bowden will get tired of the constant (and deserved) criticism of his son and retire.
I would be nice to see some new blood, not just a bunch of NCAA or NFL retreads.
Okay one out of how many??? Mr Mirererererer or Powlus ring any ding dingies?
Powlus was going to win 4 Heismanns according to Beano the blowjob. Cant get any more overrated than that can ya?
Joey Thiesmann wasn't too bad....Just ask him, he'll tell you himself....if you got a couple of hours
LMAO!!!!....I aint got the time Im busy watcking the lambs bend over.....that is ND for ya though...they changed the pronunciation of his name to make it rhyme with Heismann....
How Coker could keep this job is beyond me. He was ok for the first two years and then should've left. He overstayed his time since. He was only meant to keep the ship afloat until someone new came in. And I don't want Randy Shannon as the next head coach. He's just an ok defensive coordinator that's been watching over great talent run his non-adjusting schemes.
I'm not even sure I want Butch back. He did his job already. Let him be.
What happened to ND says even more about the sports press than about ND. Suddenly, coming off a 9-3 season, their coach was a genius, the QB brilliant, and their wide receiver either the next Roger Clemens or the next Fred Biletnikoff.
One loss later and the whole team sucks. Their QB can't read defenses, Tom Zbikowski is just an idiot kid with a mohawk and the schedule of UNC, Army, Navy and Air Force is not an easy path to the NC game but weak competition that will keep ND looking up at the teams at the top.
The truth is that ND is a pretty good but not great team. And now they will have to go through the rest of the season trying to salvage something. Being independent sure is nice when you are undefeated and looking at the title game, but when that goal is gone and you don't have a conference championship to shoot for - just a BC$ payoff if you take care of business, it is not so much fun.
Anybody heard this clip yet of the Michigan State radio show host who just loses it after the meltdown against Notre Dame. Clip is about 15 minutes long. He loses it about 4 minutes in. Absolutely hilarious. Link to site is below:
I am extremely impressed with Missouri this year. What a HUGE W for us tonight against Texas Tech. I have tickets to the Oklahoma game, which should be quite fun.
I moved this from locked thread as it is actual NCAAFB discussion.

Id love to see that but I got this feeling that Michigan wont have an answer for the scrambling qb that is Troy Smith at OSU...Michigan handled Quinn cause he just stands there and makes bad throws against a real defense.....just a gut feeling...I hope Im wrong.
Go Blue!....Go Trojans!

I don't know what it is, but there's always something special about USC vs. Michigan Rose Bowls.
Im saying that USC will be in the title game against the winner of the MU OSU game and that though I root for Michigan I think OSU will probably win.

Gotcha,
but I think you give USC too much credit. We're not going to sniff the title game.
I see the winner of Ohio State vs Michigan in the title game vs either UF or West Virginia.
The lose of the Ohio State game will play USC in the Rose Bowl.
As a Georgia fan it pains me to say this but Tim Tebow is a phenominal athlete. He has the size and stregnth of Jared Lorenzen, speed of that close to Vick. I think he will take Florida to the title game before his Gator career is done. The dude is a complete freak.

Michigan destroyed Notre Dame at South Bend and went into Happy Valley last night and beat Penn State in a game that wasn't nearly as close as the score.
Meanwhile, SC barely beats a sh*t Arizona State team and has a win at home over Nebraska as its only victory over a ranked team.
Someone enlighten me here. I don't get it, as is the case with just about everything concerning the f*cking BCS.
Take care,

USC also beat a ranked team and the SEC West leader Arkansas by 36 at their place. They are also 6-0 and have yet to play a team with a record below .500, while Michigan has several wins against teams with poor records.

Arkansas wasn't ranked when SC mauled it in Week 1. Central Michigan is the only sub-.500 team Michigan has played all year, 0-1 in Week 2.
Sorry, but I'm still not seeing SC over Michigan. Michigan destroyed a No. 2 -- albeit a media-inflated No. 2 -- on the road. SC doesn't have a win of that quality yet this season.
Take care,
