Statto Soccer Manager

Alright, it´s not yet CM, but if you´re into freeware Soccer Management try Statto Soccer Manager. Unfortunately version 1 only has the Premiership, but Spain and MLS will come in due time.

Hell, I´ll give it a whirl, considering I still have CM 00-01 with the 01-02 rosters, which is getting a bit long in the tooth.

Just downloaded this over lunch and fired it up, starting a season as Newcastle.
 
 Very clean, basic interface. But the scouting already seems a bit screwy.
 
 Newcastle´s top scout called Alan Shearer the eighth-best overall player on the team. That´s laughable.
 
 And the scout said Wayne Rooney was worth a 575,000-pound transfer bid, Thierry Henry was worth 5,500,000 pounds while Ruud Van Nistelrooy was worth 34,000,000 pounds. That seems way out of whack.
 
 I´m still going to give this a whirl. Seems like good fun as long as you don´t hold it to the Championship Manager standards.
