Here's an idea: maybe people who aren't in it for the pot could put an asterisk at the end of their name, so when we look at the list we can easily tell.

The pot is for the entire year...so even if you pay in a few days, you'll still be eligible.

Great idea.

By the way, with 20ppl and $11 per person, is the winner going to get the full $220 at the end of week 17, or will we be paying something for 2nd and 3rd place too?

Winner takes all unless there is a tie. Also $10 goes to the pot. $1 covers my paypal expenses, etc. So far we have 9 paid including myself.

Doesn't someone have a PayPal personal account instead of a premier? That way we wouldn't have to lose 62 cents per $11 sent. :(

I wanted to bump our old thread and ask for an update on the paid entries list, as the season winds down..... It looks like pigpen's going to take over the lead after this week, with Sully and I trailing by a game or two, but pigpen's not listed as paid....

What a tough year for picking against the spread though. A ton of dogs have covered this season. Too much damned parity. I think anything over a .500 record is going to win our pick'em league.

I'm not sure if you are being funny, but in case you are not, it is WAY too late.

LOL, no doubt. You needed to pay before the season started, or maybe being late one week at the most, not when 75% of the season is over and you're in the lead.

That confirms it then, Sully in the lead with Lexbur and myself 2 games back.

Sorry guys. I had some health issues at the beginning of the season and totally forgot to pay. Hell, I haven't even played for many weeks now.

I have no problem with that. Being in the lead or not makes no diffeence to me. I have been in many DSP leagues and paid up every single time. If I was in last right now, I would still pay up so let me make it really clear that being in the lead makes no DIFFERENCE!

I totally understand and agree with the reasons it is to late. Not fair to those who paid and might win some money.

That being said, the league has been fun! Thanks!
