Damn this is funny.

I must admit that watching Stevie and Azpaco attempt to get their game is pretty damn entertaining.

As much as i'd like the enterainment to continue, why don't you guys try something different, like setting a freaking time?

:wink:

Yes, and I would also suggest dealing with this in PMs or over AIM or something. A few short 'I'm available' or 'let's meet at. . . ' posts are perfectly OK, but when it gets to this point of endless back and forth yet getting nowhere, it really clutters the thread.

Heh... I play in an over 30 indoor rec league (men's and coed). Just got back from a outdor tournament up the coast which was a hell of a lot of fun, but we got our asses handed to us.

I'm a big fan of soccer, but a late comer to playing. I really wish I had played when I was your age.

A Queens kid, huh? Ever make it out to the Swamp to see the Metros/Red Bulls? You should, and if you do, let me know so we can meet there. I do wish there were a team in Flushing, don't get me started. . . .

2nd Round Draw: DSP WE League Cup

Post by Zeppo »

Folks:

Here is the draw for the 2nd Round of the Inaugural DSP WE League Cup:
  • DSP WE League Cup 2nd Round

    (home team is on top)

    Zeppo = Manchester City
    v.
    Leebo = Bayern Munich

    pigpen = Middlesbrough / XXXIV = Arsenal
    v.
    stevieg987 = F.C. Internazionale Milano

    fanatic = AFC Fiorentina
    v.
    RobV - Newcastle Utd.

    Jared = AS Monaco
    v.
    FIFAInspected = VfB Stuttgart
Obviously, pigpen and XXXIV have yet to play their First Round game, so that must be done soon. If not done by Sunday, I will go ahead and decide that game by some means, perhaps a coin toss.

Other players are free to play their games, and report the scores in to the bracket at the SGN League site. Usual Cup game rules apply, with full extra time (no golden goal) and PK shootout if still tied after 120'.

Good luck and play fair!
