3-1
Adriano 3 taking his season total to 10
Werder- Haedo Valdez
Figo is also out he had injuerd -- Bar.
I'm not sure what this means. When a player has an injury, report what color the injury icon was: a yellow arrow or a red arrow. Whether or not the player misses games due to injuries is determined by the roll of a 6-sided die, and according to terms that are explained in the initial post of this thread (where all the league procedures etc. are listed) and by happnestance a a little bit back in this thread.stevieg987 wrote:

I need to know what color the cross was on Figo in order to determine if he will miss any games and if so, how many.
Sorry, guys...I've been megabusy this week.
I hope things quiet down for me.
I'm free this weekend during the afternoons if anyone wants to play.
Also would be very appreciative if you guys sent me game invites via PM instead of posting them here. It seems like this thread gets bigger by two pages or so every time I visit the forum, and I'm afraid I might have missed some invites while scanning the thread.
Thanks.

With the new teams and larger size, I think it would be best if scheduling were done via PM or AIM and the thread left to recaps and league issues. (Says the guy just set up two games via the forummobiggins wrote:Sorry, guys...I've been megabusy this week.

Crazy. I've never seen one before either, but unless anyone has a better idea I'll just treat it like a red cross. And the roll is:stevieg987 wrote:It wasnt even a cross it was like a purple flatline which I have never seen before.
4
So he is unavailable for Inter's next two games.
Unless a purple flatline means he was dead, in which case he misses the rest of the season.

Bayern scored first when Salihamidzic headed in one of 5 corners surrendered by Barcelona. Roy Makaay added the second goal after a careless clearance landed at his feet.
Good game, Jack. I'll see you in the 2nd half of the league.

Hmmm...the module over at SGN has the goals I scored, but the game Rob and I played isn't in the standings. I'm still at zero games played...
Rob, did you enter everything in??
For the record, Rob and I played a wild game that he totally deserved to win, but came out of with a 1-2 loss. My goalie stood on his head the whole game and I made good on what opportunities I had.

Sorry. Put in the goals, but not the overall score. Fixed now.mobiggins wrote:Hmmm...the module over at SGN has the goals I scored, but the game Rob and I played isn't in the standings. I'm still at zero games played...

Here are the numbers. Way, way too tired to do my usual write up. Mo summed it up well. Still can't believe he went post-to-post to save that Owen shot! Good game.

Zep, can you switch the schedule so I can record the game? as Tolousse was home...our mistake...I need to be home on the second leg
Newcastle - 0 Boro - 2
Boro wins the Tyneside Derby as Boro hold firm in the first half and get second half goals from Mendietta and Viduka. Viduka made up for his penalty miss against Monaco 2 games ago. The Magpies outshot Boro 21-9 but they couldn't find the target as Mark Schwartzer was strong in the net.
Great games Squid and Rob....was fun...Boro was playing well tonight.
Zep........... Squid, Rob and I have a thought.....we think that the visitng team should be the host next season as the visitors have th lag advantage in the second half and it should be the other way around.
What do you think?

Every team in the league plays every other team in its division twice, once home and once away. I do agree in general that the away team has a slight advantage having the lag side in the second half, but attribute that to the impenetrable japanese minds at Konami.pigpen81 wrote: Zep........... Since every team plays every other team once home and once away, in the end it evens out.
Man City Handles B. Munich, Remains Undefeated
Manchester City welcomed Bayern Munich to the Råsunda for their fourth game of the season and remain undefeated with a 2-0 win. Andy Cole started things off early for the hosts, taking advantage of the lag in the 9th minute to find the net past Kahn. Munich did well to stem the early tide and keep their deficit at one goal into the break.
The second half saw more chances for Munich, but City were defending well. Vassel capped the scoring in the 61st minute after an ill-advised A-button clearance in the box kept Cole from shooting but put the ball right towards Vassel at the top of the box. A one-time shot gave Kahn no chance, and the hosts their 10th point of the season, having earned only 14 all last season despite 4 more games on their schedule in that season's seven-team division.
Manchester City 2 : 0 Bayern Munich
City: Andy Cole 9'; Vassel 61'
SoG 11 : 7
SoT 5 : 2
Corners 1 : 2
Fouls 7 (8 ) : 3 (4)
Offside 1 : 1
Poss. 53 : 47
no bookings
no injuries
Good game, Leebo. I don't know why you had lag, since no one was here but me, and it wasn't too bad for me in the second half. Either way it was a good game. Makaay was a menace in that second half and you were unlucky not to get that goal that would have made things much more nervewracking than it was!
Good luck the rest of the way, and in the Cup!
