Seriously, the force is not strong in me for this game. Zeppo has knocked me around like Floyd Landis' rep for the last couple weeks.

I've struggled to get a grip on it, going so far as to basically take a week off from online play to get a feel for it. But I shall work hard to make your prognostication look accurate.

Too many guys I don't know to pick 4, but I would wager that Zep and Ubrakto are around for the final four.

Heh...that's the only night I cannot do. I've got to hang blinds in my new condo that night and my pops is coming over to help (girlfriend = worthless when it comes to that stuff), lol. So any other night is cool.

DB I will probably be around thursday night so maybe we can play then. Not sure why bill is calling are matchup classic, I'm not very good at this game. Maybe he thinks we will do a lot of trash talking lol.

OK St. 26, Tulsa 0

Oklahoma State started the Abner DSP 2X Elimination Tourney on the right foot, shutting out Tulsa on the road behind four takeaways and two TD passes and one TD run by QB#14 Bobby Reid. Reid hit six different receivers in only seven completions, and ran the option game with aplomb.

The Cowboys started strong, scoring a TD on their first drive of the game. The PAT was blocked, putting the score at 6-0. OK St. quickly added to their lead, taking advantage of a turnover to score on a 5yd TD pass from QB#14 Reid to TE#87 Brandon Pettigrew. The Cowboys added 10 more points in the second quarter, including a 51 yd FG from K#10 Bruce Redden, making the score at the half 23-0.

The second half was less eventful. Tulsa at one point found themselves with a 4th and long on the OK St. 40yd line, and went for it. A well designed play led to a long pass down the middle of the field, caught for the first down but stopped before the goal line. On 2nd and goal, Tulsa HB#34 fumbled the ball, and Tulsa came away with no points. The Cowboys added another field goal with 2:41 left in the 4th quarter, this one from 35yds.

OK St. looks forward to the winner of the game between Kansas St. and Arkansas, while Tulsa heads to the losers bracket hoping for better luck and a non-greasy pigskin in the next game!

MU had 2 turnovers, ILL had 3. Each team had a muffed punt included in that total, and one of Illinois' fumbles (by the QB) was returned for a defensive TD. Both teams connected on a FG (MU had one PAT blocked).

Bill, the dude has 26000+ Gamerscore points. I think he was simultaneously playing 3 different games just to jack up his total!

Anyway, it was SC 49 or something to UTEP 14.

This Matt fellas is seriously good. He had his guys moonwalking in the open field.

Right now the whole double elimination aspect is more of a negative for me

Well, I tried to play him.....I went online at 2:00 but he was playing in a ranked game. I sent him a message about our game but no response !! I had to leave but sent him an XBL message last night. I'm trying............

I was getting my EA stats emails on a regular basis but recently I have'nt got any ( 3 or 4 games in a row)

Rob, just being curious, was he a legit player? What was he calling to rack up that many points on you? He signed up via the blog so I have no clue who he is other than a reader of a fine webiste.

I kept watching the score on the dashboard and thinking, "Rob is going to kill me..." heh
