Amazing game Pig. If I wasn't so focused on holding on for dear life I might have remembered some of it to write a recap. 4 great goals and several more that either struck the woodwork or shaved it.
The fans got a good one tonight.
Pig: you'll need to add Aiyegbeni and his goal.

Just a friendly reminder, guys, that this Third Season has been extended one week, so now the deadline is this Sunday, 8/13. I think we are doing very well and it looks like all games will be played by then, but I just wanted to give one more heads-up.
The ones lagging most behind are pigpen, fsquid, AtXj, Jared, and Jimmy. I've seen Jimmy make a post or two recently looking to schedule a game, but I don't know what is going on with squid or AtXj. Everyone should post here to let us know you are still trying to finish the season games.
Assuming everyone will be continuing, I think we all should ponder whether we want to keep the teams we have now or go in for a new team in the team draw. As usual, I will make a special congratulations thread at the close of the season to announce the Division winners and the results of the season. In that thread, I will solicit new members (XXXIV, fanatic etc. you will want to post in that thread), and i will also expect everyone now in the league to indicate that they are interested in continuing and whether they want to keep their team or make a change.
There is a good chance we will have a Third Division again this upcoming season. I don't want divisions to be bigger than 7 teams, maybe 8, and the DSPremiership I think should stay at 6 teams. So, we may have two lower divisions that are extra-small this time around, like 4 or 5 teams apiece. We'll see what kind of response we get in the congrats thread.
