I thought he said he had some kind of updates for the tracks website he had to do so would be out of it for a few days. Also, isn't the NASCAR race at Indy coming up? I bet thats keeping him busy also.

I think he'll remain low-profile until the results of his 'B' test are released.

This is the week every year that he takes his first nickel out for cleaning and buffing. :)

Perhaps he broke down and bought a 360 and NCAA 2007 and can't pull himself away from it to post.

If true, it would be ironic since there really hasn't been much thread policing during his absence.

I just realized Scoop is the only moderator now. Only Pk knows his reasons.

It's his business. I'm sure he still lurks around here, and if he feels we need to know he'll drop a post.

I've noticed him in the 2k5 forums quite a bit, so it could also be that he hangs out there because that's where the discussion is for the games he's playing. Most people at DSP seem to be on the 360, so 2k5 doesn't get any time around here anymore.

I know I've posted more at OS in the past 2 months than I have here. I'm having a blast with NFL 2k5, ESPN baseball (2k4), MVP 2005, and ID 2004. OS is the place to be for discussing those games because there is still a lot of talk about them over there.

That's cool, and those are some damn good games. I just hope pk continues to post here as his wit and humor are sorely missed.

Kinda like when bdoughboy left, he took all of the fights, picture-posting and locked threads with him...

Just kidding, PK is a good guy and he obviously wasn't the cause of inappropriate threads. He probably wouldn't make a big deal about leaving and draw attention to himself, he'd just up and leave. Of course, that's assuming we're not overreacting since it hasn't even been a week since his last post.

Glancing at his posting history, his last comment about the thread police was Jul 19. He then made eleven posts after that, but they were all "poker" night post-related... no discussion posts of any kind, be it gaming or OT.

His wit and humor ARE sorely missed around here. OS is cool for game specific posts, but the one thing I like about this place is that all the posts are in one place. I love the variety of sports game related posts and also all the "OT" stuff too. Hopefully this place will get that "community" feeling back that PK thought was missing recently and he will return with a vengance! It's a same that all his musings will now be only on OS.

Yeah, it could be poker night related. He was campaigning for more Xbox poker nights and I think a lot of the guys here with 360s aren't ready to go back there just yet. Maybe he went to the broader audience of OS in search of some multiplayer action.
