No, I will do it the way I did it. You lost interest as well as others. If I would have done it your way, you would be in a league that you have no interest in. This was not a sign up and you are in league. This was a sign up and can I be in league.
No, I didn't lose interest, I was pretty much passed over. Even though I don't think that NCAA on the 360 is that good of a game, I was excited to play in the league. I checked this thread all week for info and there was none, then I worked 12 hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and come back yesterday to see that I'm out and someone else already has my team.

And for the record, remember the PM you sent me asking how committed I would be to the league? I told you that if I was in, I was committed. Even though ESPN 2K5 was not my game of choice, I played every game in Bill's league until everyone lost interest.

If you had any questions about whether or not I would be committed to the league, you had to go no further than reading my pm response to you.

How can you say that with a straight face...

- You posted expressing interest in a league for a 360 game you have pretty much trashed and spent countless posts telling people who like it how you're right and they are wrong.

- You didn't get picked, bitched and bdunn made room for you.

- You then procede to say nevermind, i don't like the 360 version. Which could have been the end of it but..

- You had to slam the guy for the way he is running the league and yet again you switched your tone on how you would be committed to the league. How can that be true when he said there was one spot, Rally said you could have it and then you passed.

I would suggest in the future that when you do something like this again, that you consider the people that said they were going to play in until they say they are out. I thought when I signed up the first time that meant I was in...I didn't know I would have to sign up twice.

It's no big deal because I'm going on vacation in a few weeks and by the time I get back Madden will be out. I'd much rather get involved in a Madden league should someone put it together.
Actually, I prefer the way Brad handled it. You can't make everyone happy if you want a league to succeed. If I'm not mistaken, last year's league fell flat on its face because half of the owners lost interest after a week.

Weren't you in last year's league?

Well to begin with, I wouldn't have played anyway now. Like you said, I didn't get picked, someone else got my team...message received loud and clear.

It's not so much about wanting to play, it's about wanting to know why you were passed over. I didn't agree with the way it was handled and I let it be known. And he didn't make room for me either...someone dropped out and he suddenly needed someone.

Again, I was the first person to sign up when he posted it. He sent me a pm at OS asking how committed I would be and I told him that I would play every game that was on my schedule, just like I did in Bill Abner's league. I can't begin to count how many times I was stood up in that league while I sat in the lobby waiting on someone who never showed. My committment should have never been in question.

And it's also true that I'm not crazy about the game, but I keep playing it hoping it will eventually click with me. In Bill's league, the only time I touced 2K5 was to play league games...the rest of the time I played Madden for online play and franchise. I didn't think 2K5 was all that good either, but I played it because I was committed and I thought it would be fun to play the guys from here.

Not sure why you're always trying to start something with me. If you don't like me, put me on ignore so you don't have to see my posts. I think I have every right to be upset about being passed over.

Yes, I was in last year's league. I played my first game and lost to ATXJ and made two attempts to play my 2nd game with ZXLT. We got disconnected both times and we never got the game in. I think it was there that the league pretty much dissolved, but it wasn't because I wasn't playing my games.

"someone else got my team"

You had no team. No one had a team until they logged in and picked yesterday.

Lets see that was my first response to you that I can recall since you returned to DSP. If you're refering to last years Madden thread, I've always wondered why you could handle railing on people in that thread, but when you got a little ribbing you pulled the "I'm leaving DSP forever" card.

I was simply pointing out I thought you were incorrect in your assement of the situation and took exception to your post I wouldn't call that trying to start something.

I didn't get a PM.

I'd like to join if you have a spot available still.

The schedule is ugly but its working and posted. Remember the home team posts the score and box score after the game. If anyone has any problems, let me know.

Penn State scored on it's first play from scrimmage on a Tony Hunt long run, but it was all Oklahoma the rest of the way. The Sooners hammered the PSU defense with inside running, several perfectly executed options, and numerous key third down passes. Once the momentum shifted, Oklahoma did a great job of maintaining it by recovering 3 Nittany Lion fumbles and an interception.

Final score: Leebo33 7 vs. XXXIV 34 34

It should be a little easier to read now. If you are logged in and you goto the league page, only YOUR games will show at the bottom. Of course you can change the drop down to see other people's games.

Also, some of you might not have everyone on your friends lists thats in the league(I know I didn't). If you are logged in to xbox.com, you can goto the league homepage, click a users's tag then hold your mouse over the xbox logo and you will see their gamercard appear. From there, you can click their name inside the card and you will be taken to their xbox live page. You will then see a link in the middle of the page to send the user an invite.
