I'm saving a spot for the West Coast. I just realized that I should have posted this around noon (EDT) to give West Coast guys a chance to jump in.
Piggy, Jimmy, Terry, take the spot or remaining two spots! And if you get shut out, look for an opening around 9-9:30 p.m. your time, as we usually have some East Coasters tune out for the night by then. Same goes for anyone else.
Sorry for the early post.
Take care,
PK

We have six. Dave, please let us know if you can't make it for some reason. But we're eager to have you join the fun.
Scoop, Terry, Vader, look for us later if you want in. Somebody might call it a night early. Or form a side game, and we'll absorb as many of you as possible during the night.
See you cats at 10:30, and get ready to "ring the bell!"
Take care,
PK

If you need a fill-in, shoot me an invite and I may just show up.
Damn all you slackers that are able to post from work.
I'll be around tonight looking to play if a spot opens up.

Good playing tonight, boys. Dave, Isles and Slumber waxed our ass tonight.
Usually losing in a video game doesn't bother me that much, but something really burned my ass tonight about our play. I don't know what it is. I played like sh*t, so maybe that's it.
Either way, sorry for being so silent. But I was sick and tired of getting our ass kicked. Well done by you three.
Next week, boys!
Take care,
PK

True, true, Dave!
Only Midtown Madness 3 has come close to delivering such pure XBL glee to me. There are better games, but none with as much pure, simple fun on XBL as MM3 and Rivals.
Maybe IndyCar Series 2005, although that's intense fun, where MM3 and Rivals are pretty mindless fun.
Take care,
PK

You guys were shackling us last night...unbeliveable...we couldn't do much of anything.
Seth's passing and stick checking was tough to beat.
Hulkster and Dave were checking machines....they even checked us when we didn't have the puck...they hit everything that moved.
An for Dave...an enforcer...to lead his team in goals....wow!
Nobody on this planet could have beaten you three last night.

Dave, Isles & Slumber........you guys played great! The "PigJackPK"
team was seriously humbled last night. We finally showed some spark
in the last game when we were breifly tied up, but couldn't put the game away. You guys were like a well oiled machine! Way to go! But be warned! We will be back, stronger than ever!
P.S. Sorry Zep.....we played until 12 and then we all left. Me and Piggy went to WE to play our league game. We may have to make some new rules on "Rivals Night" so all who want to play can play. Like after 1/2 hour, if there are people waiting to play, the last one in must leave for the new people to come in. It shouldn't be restricted to just the "1st 6" to reply. This is too much fun to not let everyone in on it.

Yeah, I was looking forward to filling in once the early-leavers were done, but there must have been something wrong with the ice, because the everyone ran home at 11:45 or so.TCrouch wrote:Sorry guys, I was in Catalina from Thursday til last night. Definitely would have loved to, though...
Again.......sorry Zep. You definitley get "first dibs" next Rivals Night.

Re: Rivals tonight?
Hey all. Its crazy to see so many of you guys from way back are still here posting about video games and stuff. I still correspond with Paul (PK500) on Facebook from time to time and we were talking about what a blast those days were on XBox Live when it was in its heyday. NHL Rivals was waaay too
much fun. PK knows I play music now and challenged me to do the song from Rivals, which was "33 & 1/3" by "Action Slacks". So I did some googling and was able to find a recording and I made a quick attempt to play a little of it for Paul, but I thought maybe some of you guys that remembered would get a kick out if this. Check it out. Hope everyone is doing well through this tough time. Maybe this will bring a smile to your face?
I hope this link works
